Great place for good Mediterranean food! Not sure about the horrible reviews on wait staff as the staff was polite.
Great experience at Hummus today for take out. My wife and I got two gyro plates (lunch portion) and were very pleased with both the quality of food and the service. The front desk attendant Jasmine was very kind and helpful. Our food arrived in under 10 minutes and we were on our way. Would highly suggest trying out this place!
It is hard to give a rating, so I will first start with what should have been a five and will deduct points. -1- A mime hostess with earphones on welcomed me. -1- The server could not explain what hot tea they offered if it were apple tea since they have +1+ Turkish coffee. -1- I was not offered refills for water. -1- I was eating when the server asked if I was paying in cash or cred. -1- the server could not give a hard copy of the bill, and only electronically, so as I was checking out the bill and paying, the server was hovering at me. I hope it is not to intimidate me on how much tip I included.
This place is one of my favorite Mediterranean places in OKC. The only downside is they have messed up our order a couple times. They have different pita for sandwiches and for hummus, the sandwich pita is 10x better (ask for it with your hummus). The hummus pita is hard and powdery and not good. The chicken is amazingly seasoned. Tzatziki is really good. Their French fries are so good. Overall good place and will eat again.
I enjoyed the hummus and warm pita quite a bit as well as the French fries, but the rest of our meal was average at best. The mint lemonade was refreshing but perhaps was a bit heavy on crushed ice. Service was friendly, though I feel the prices are a bit high for the amount of food you get- and was told by my companions the serving size had been larger in the past. They were quite excited to share the restaurant with me but we left thinking we'll try somewhere else next time we want gyros or Mediterranean. Not a bad experience but I was not impressed.
I had the tabouli salad, grape leaves stuffed, mint lemonade and baklava, all excellent. My wife had the gyro sandwich and fries, again excellent. We topped it off with baklava and it’s the best I’ve ever had. Service was amazing! We will definitely go back again and again.
Been multiple times to this location, and they continue to provide great food! I love the flavors and the options for vegans.
I really enjoy bringing my family and clients here. I go to the branch in Edmond. They are a bit pricey; but, thats fine with me because they DO NOT cut corners on the quality of their food. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for formal yet casual dining!
Overall a pretty good experience. For the appetizer we went with the hummus which was very good. The gyro plate was good while the steak kabobs were a bit gritty and tough not filet meat like the menu says. I will still come back and give them another try for sure.
