I was a bit hesitant at first booking a room at a property built in the 1950’s…this is an old school hotel with a huge atrium and the rooms surrounding the atrium looking down into the bar and restaurant. The room was clean, nicely appointed, and a great location close to really good restaurants. Some of the BEST shower water pressure I have experienced in a very long time. Ryan checked me in and out…did a great job and was a real pleasure to talk to. Enjoyed my stay here so much added it as a favorite to my IHG list.
Nice hotel, clean, free of bugs and safe area. Very spacious. Staff was super sweet, lobby and bar area was had lots guests having a good time and they also had 2 other areas where you can sit , eat or chill. Will definitely book with them again.
Pool was actually really nice maybe a little cold. But breakfast was $14 for nothing special at all. The cleaning people did not get in till like 10-11 am so we could not get towels or blankets. Keycards didn’t work but that happens a lot of places so I don’t really think that should affect the star rating. The big thing was that the room was not clean… I looked under the couch and there was a whole candy wrapper with some still in it with pieces of food caked into the carpet.
Honestly if I could put zero stars I would! The 2 queens suite was like a dungeon. Got moved to a new room no problem. But as I was checking the bed skirts do not get changed, I doubt the sheets do because when I was looking I found a Walmart bag with beef jerky in it behind my mattress. If you were changing the bedding you would not have missed it so that’s why I think they do not change the bedding. Behind my mattress was all kinds of white power on my box spring and where my daughter was sleeping behind her bed the floor was CAKED with the substance. Her bed skirt looked like someone had chili on their hands and wiped it on the skirt because it was chunky and hard still. The walls had splattered food on it. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. We stayed for 2 nights and the second night we come back we couldn’t get into my room and they said they had canceled and refunded me. I told them I didn’t have anyone cancel it and even if I did I don’t have anything showing me I have a refund. On top of that we were gone ALL DAY and I told her even if it was canceled ALL OF OUR STUFF IS IN THAT ROOM. So that shows they hadn’t even touched our room for cleaning and out beds were not made or anything. Please do not waste your money here! Also! I ALWAYS use Holiday Inn and I’ve never had a problem till I stayed at this location.
So the young lady did not activate my key then activated the card and it was someone else's room. Had to walk back twice 20 minutes later finally in my room. The food from the restaurant was on point dinner and the surprise buffet the following morning.
Great location. We had a uhaul truck and the large well lit parking lot was convenient and safe. Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. They have a good restaurant in house so you don't need to leave the property. They do got a large pet park. The ops manager is a great asset and value to the brand
This was the most disappointing stay I've ever experienced. I am patient with Covid restrictions, and even being short staffed is understandable in these times, but when management doesn't communicate clearly, it can wreek havoc!I had surgery, and we chose this hotel because of location and their own resteraunt. My first outing out of the room in 3 days, we go down to have an early dinner. Wall sign IN the lobby says open at 4, menus say open at 4. They said they have been opening at 5 on for months. I said, Ok, we would just enjoy drinks while we wait. At 5, we were told the cook was not there yet. At 6, the cook finally shows up.By this time, a mouthy person was walking through the lobby, and police were around the outer building, (2nd time police were on the premises within 4 days)I decided I would like my dinner delivered to my room, in case any shennanigans went sideways, you know, safety first! I wasn't mad, or angry, just disappointed. At 7:00 pm, still no dinner-- when my husband went to check on it, he was told the cook got sick! No phone call? How then, did miraculously, another gentleman was able to be eating in the diner who ordered 'after' us? We really are nice people. I just don't understand why they wouldn't just CALL so we could order somewhere else!!??On day 4, we filled out the clean room request. Maid came, only cleaned den area by emptying trash, cleaning bathroom, but we had to call her back to clean the bedroom, and 2nd bath. She did Not vacuum, no dusting, no wiping down counters, not thorough at all, again...very disappointing. ?Will never stay here again, would not recommend.Room key on door took 20x each time to swipe before getting a green light to open.Door to entrance at dog walk doesn't work with keys, so dog walkers have to take the long way back in unless they prop the door.Nothing is very clean, trash on floor in stairwell that was there on Tuesday, was still there on the following Monday.Last but not least, the layout of the 2 room 2 bath suite/accessible room: handicap accessible bathroom is in the living room area, while the regular bathroom is off the bedroom area. I'll let readers ponder that one a moment. ?
My children 4 have been eaten by bed bugs my oldest had it so bad her top lip was swollen ten times the normal size .. blood specs from the bed bugs all over the pull out couch from room number 135 my 8 year olds daughter has been asleep the whole day and the oldest one with bites all over her face has been complaining of a severe head ache I’ve sent 15 pictures to the email given to me by front desk . I’m really glad I recorded several videos during our swimming with them not having one bite on them what so ever before even lounging in the room this is absolutely unacceptable I’ve managed hotels as well as cleaned them and some one is always supposed to double check house keepings work to make sure everything is clean and properly dusted etc I wouldn’t even give it one star but that’s the only option this could have been avoided but it’s from straight negligence From house keeping and whom ever is SUPPOSED to inspect the room for cleanliness and safety. An adult suffering having to miss work due to this facility’s negligence is one thing but my children I’m absolutely beyond LIVID right now .. I have all the documentation I need I would advise you guys to contact me Via my phone number sent to the email that was given to me
Some of the staff need to do better with customer service. Other than that the food was good, the beds are comfortable and the room was clean. Bathrooms need some updating.
First look, and notice how no management ever responds to people's reviews, not a good sign.Second, this place needs work, see the list below.1.Inside of the fridge was gross and had old liquid dried in it.2. TV Stand door for fridge was busted and wouldn't stay closed, forcing the other drawer open due to leaning against it.3. Hot Tub was not working when we booked the room. This would have been nice to know prior to arriving at the hotel, not while checking in.4. Facet fixture was barely hanging on in the bathroom (can't add video I recorded)5. Dried hard water on the bathroom sink?6. The elevator door is barely hanging on, seems like a safety hazard for any small kids.I hold the Holiday Inn to high standards, and this place has not held up to the Holiday Inn reputation. The only good thing here was the bar area and the waitress there.**After speaking to the manager about our stay she refunded our money so I'm raising the 1 star to 3 stars**
