This place was fantastic! They go through the decades with the music starting at 70's disco and going all the way to today's hits. The drinks were amazing! David was awesome! Everyone was so nice and I would highly recommend it!It was my first night out at a club of any kinda and everyone was amazing! I would highly recommend it!
I love the music and cozy atmosphere. But the regulars ruin the experience. I had a much older man try to dance with me and i kept moving away. Finally i danced at more than arms length away since he was so old. I stopped dancing with him cause he got handsy and it upset me. Later i had an older woman approach me all grouchy and said he's my man don't dance with him or I'll kick your ***. Then she said she had to go because her husband was waiting!! Come to find out she was a regular so was he. This wasn't the first experience either with regulars. Alot of them seem to feel like it's their place and other people are just an inconvenience. Its very weird and rude IMO. I really like groovies but if i go again it will definitely not be as often. Taking my money elsewhere where i feel safer.
I loved the music and potential of a great vibe but this place is way too smokey and I am a smoker. Also there is a creepo vibe. I wouldn't set your glass down anywhere.
Groovys has the best drinks and drink prices and the music is of a disco style until the evening grows and then it’s a mix of modern dance music
Hole in the wall. Got sick after drinking to much here last time, had way to much fun. I love singing karaoke on Wednesdays and dancing Thursday l-Saturday. This place is awesome and lost in time! I love coming here and acting like it’s still the 60s. Peace and love!

I'm not a fan of bars and dance clubs but my wife loves to go. Groovy's is the exception for me. I don't dance, I play on my phone and people watch, my wife dances her butt off. The staff is extremely nice and professional. They make antisocial asshats like me feel welcome just as much as the solid gold dances that are out on the floor.
They employ the worst of the worst as their “security” which in turn does nothing to make anyone safe. Their security gets off on calling girls names, and physically assaulting them as well. Jordan Roy Javier Ferrer is one of the security guards who is only there to look for a fight with anyone and everyone. Do NOT go here out of your own safety. They also force you to leave your drink unattended if you’re on the dance floor, which is an EXTREMELY unsafe practice. It’s not worth the $9 just to have the worst night of your life.
Fabulous atmosphere, beautiful people, awesome drinks and music and can't wait to go back!
