The lamb was the toughest meat I have ever had. The area rugs were not swept. The chairs in the waiting area had stains. The carry out took over an hour.

Guporam, where to start ?Your restaurant hours for lunch are 11am till 2pm, so your employee should not remove items before 2pm.We came at 1:15pm, and the first thing said to us was we close at 2pm. Why not say welcome and enjoy the food. You still have 45 minutes before closing. We saw a customer who came in at 1:40pm, he was told at the door that we would close in a few minutes, he walked away, you lost a sale and a customer.Compared to 20 years ago where gopuram started on 23rd Street, this local restaurant is nowhere close to the quality and standards which kept customers coming back.I am not going to get into the quality of food, not surprised. However we were very disappointed to pay $12.99 plus tax, for 4 people $56.60 with tax add another $6-$8 for tips. So about $64 bucks. The butter chicken was watered down and there was nothing on the buffet line, when we asked for it, employee Omar chopped down some raw chicken breast and quickly cooked it in the sauce, let me be honest the chicken meat was raw, chewy and dangerous undercooked.Owner Verun, Kindly take this review as a chance to improve your restaurant's guest experience. You have worked very hard before to maintain the quality and food standard. This is not how we remembered Gopuram. Very Disappointed, Period!

I've been here several times to pick up take out now, and love it each time. The service is great, the restaurant is clean, the price is reasonable, the portions are big, and most importantly, the food is incredible

3 stars are for the quality of food. Went for dinner buffet, there were few choices. It was more of a selective menu choices than a buffet. Hope to see more variety for my next visit

Very good! Not expensive either. Lots of options. Very quiet, but nice for just dinner and conversation

Rice was not cooked thoroughly and was rather crunchy. The chicken itself was poor quality while the sauces were bland. In regards to the Garlic Naan, I never thought I would ever say to much garlic, but there is a first time for everything. Seriously would much rather eat out of my garbage disposal.

The food was lukewarm. Some of it tasted ok, like the chicken tikka masala & paneer, except for the temperature. The Tandoori chicken was extremely dry. The best part of the meal was the naan, which was good. I had tried Gopuram years ago- it was very good. But today, it was very disappointing. I hate to see any restaurant struggling, especially since so many restaurants have had to close permanently. I’m sure Gopuram could be good again.

Very good. Paneer, korma, masala, tandoori… all very tasty. I would have liked some India music to make each visit more enjoyable.

Don’t visit this place. It doesn’t worth even a single cent. They don’t make authentic Indian food.Everything tastes bad and highly disappointing!

Gopuram Memorial - The buffet looked sad, tasted even sadder. It tasted like the owners must have really watered down the flavors and spices of the menu to cater to their predominantly Caucasian palate. The experience overall was inconsistent with the Gopuram brand I remember from 2010. It was as if they were going for the mom and pop, hole in the wall Indian restaurant feel. The food in the buffet did not look or taste freshly made. The room was hot (no A/C?). The plates were paper and the cups plastic. The rice was also sitting on top of plastic wrap in the buffet bar, which with heat was essentially melting plastic molecules onto the food. The staff was nice but between the cook and the one waiter, they struggled as customers walked in for pick up orders and attending to the few customers in dining. I hope management learns from this review. As a customer, it was a poor experience. Time to take a renewed perspective from the customer point of view and examine the aesthetics and experience. The presentation of the food in the buffet bar appeared unappealing. The restroom was not clean and the paper towel dispenser did not work. I noticed a bunch of awards at the front entrance from 2015 and 2016. It's been over 5 years, and I hope you all live up to that again. However, after writing this review and reading some of your recent ones, I seriously doubt you will change anything because you're making enough of a profit not to bother improving.
