My favorite sesame chicken and spring rolls did not disappoint me!

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because my first time being here I walked in and there is a sign that says “please wait to be seated” and I stood for about 5 minutes. There was a register approximately 8 to 10 feet away, but it had a couple people in line ordering and paying for takeout(so I thought that was just for takeout). When those customers finished the person behind the register asked if I wanted takeout or to dine-in. I chose to eat-in. The staff was very friendly and the portions where great. The food I ordered was good. This place has a really nice atmosphere. I loved the moon looking lights above some of the tables. The prices for some items where a little high end, but there is a lot of choices and regular priced items on the menu. If you want a nice Asian restaurant with friendly staff, a lot of choices and good food then you might want to try Golden Phoenix. When I eat here again if the waiting gets corrected I’ll upgrade to a 5. Dine-in customers shouldn’t have to wait to be seated for all the takeout orders to be handled. The areas are separated and even pay at different registers.

Always a dining pleasure. Their food is always perfectly prepared and their menu is extensive. Prices are steady but I did notice a recent reduction in portion size. Oh well, it was probably that or raise prices.

I've been going to this restaurant for years, of which has always closed at 9:30pm on Saturdays as it clearly states on the Google directory. We came into the restaurant at 8:35pm, sat down and I went to the bathroom briefly to wash my hands. I came back and my wife was upset because apparently one of the waiters told her she had to hurry up and order because they close at 9pm on the dot. Firstly, don't be rude to my wife. Secondly, what restaurant closes at an exact time? I am sad to say I won't be back to your restaurant to eat, this is unforgivable behavior. You can't speak to the general public with the same rudeness you speak to your wife or family in."If you cannot smile do not open shop" -Chinese proverb

The food was delicious!!! The service however, could have been better. We waited almost 45min b4 we seen any food. Then they only brought out mine. The person I was with, decided he didn't want his food anymore. He was being kind if a jerk. (it was a blind date)The waiter wasn't very friendly towards him, either. So we paid for what I ordered, then left. Personally, I will go back. The food was wonderful. Both times I've been there. However, I won't be going with that person again. I don't think he even left a tip. Anyways, The Golden Phoenix overall is worth the expensive prices, I like the ambience and the Restaurant itself is very nice. I would gave given it 5 stars for the food alone. The service however could have been much better. The first time I went there it was great.

The pho was meh. We didn’t like how the broth tasted as it tasted more seasoned than the broth usually is like in pho. The appetizer’s were great, it was just a bummer that the pho wasn’t living up to our expectations. In regards to the service, the servers were slacking. They didn’t come often, they didn’t refill our water, they didn’t provide enough napkins, and we had to chase them down to provide us the check. We wouldn’t come here again.

Service is terrible. I have been sitting for at least 15 minutes without a server. I understand I am by myself and not as likely to order as much as bigger groups, but I am a paying customer as well. Old guy, who I am assuming is a manager, was also pretty rude. Said it takes 15 minutes for food to be ready, which is fine, but I had to wait and ask to order from their menu….Thanks, but no thanks.

Great portion, great value but lack of tasting. It’s just something to filled you up minus the satisfaction. Use better ingredients and focusing on details would turn this place around.

Went today first time, ordered Dim Sum.Excellent and I moved here from LA, CA.

Really disappointed today. Place was not busy at all. Waited 15 minutes for server to come take our order. And then waited 40 more minutes until I had enough and went to ask where our food was. Turns out, our brilliant server forgot to place the order for us!!!! Really hungry and angry right now!Update: managers were nice and attempted to make up for the mistake.
