Delicious, all of it! We had the papaya salad, chicken spring rolls, and veggie pad thai! Spice was legit, I love spice and wouldn't do more than 3, it's ???! Yummy, and probably my new favorite Thai food. Excellent portions too! The pad thai is by far the best I've had, flavor and sauce, so good. Sauces are great and plenty! Chicken spring rolls, such fresh veggies and unique flavors!
This place is a total SCORE! I was thoroughly impressed with this hole in the wall. Simple dream by husband and wife, perfectly executed! Excellent services, excellent food, all for a great price. I don’t just hand out these 5 stars, they were absolutely earned. 10/10 will recommend and return. Pad Thai (pictured) and spring rolls with chicken.
I visited this establishment with my boyfriend who is a big fan of Thai foods. This was my first time having Lao/Thai food and I’m incredibly satisfied with it. Granted, he had more of a glowing review as he said it’s hard to find good Thai food in Oklahoma. Regardless of it being my first time, I was throughly happy with my selection!! Definitely worth all the five star reviews they have!
Tried this place tonight and really liked it. I got the Weeping Tiger, I got medium but if I get it again I will get it rare. My wife got the Panang Curry with shrimp. Both were very good. Will definitely come back here. Prices are great as well. Oh! Got a chicken spring roll which was excellent! If you want some good Thai, give this place a try. It is take out only.
It's funny this place is called a "diner"; it isn't really. It's a family owned hole-in-the-wall (well, a hole-in-a-strip-mall really) that formerly had 4-5 small tables for eating in, but is operating as take-out only in these Times of Covid. We were staying at an airport hotel on Meridian and wanted to get away for something different. What a great little discovery this was and only 4-5 miles from the hotel! The owner's the friendly guy who'll take your order and his wife is the one who'll cook it. They came here from Seattle about 7 years ago and like they cheaper gas prices (until recently anyway). So, we did the take-out thing, ordering a noodle dish, an order of larb, and a curry. All were fresh and delicious and, for a refreshing change, when we said we wanted it VERY spicy, they really did VERY SPICY (something was can't convince them to do most places in the U.S.). And it's always a good sign when the food doesn't show up immediately after you order it; we had to wait 15-20 minutes while they actually cooked it especially for us! I love to support little mom-and-pop restaurants in this very tough business and recommend that you do the same!
The food is authentic and we love the pad thai and fresh shrimp spring rolls. Never had any like them before. Best flavor.
This place is so fantastic. Every time we eat here they knock it out of the park. We used to live in SGV and this is a top 10 Thai food place for us.
Nice, family owned place. This was my first experience with Laotian food and it did not disappoint. The woman taking our order was very kind and helpful. She helped us decide on the best option for us and our first experience. My only complaint was that it was a little warm inside. Otherwise, I was very happy!
I moved to OKC about two months ago and have been looking for a Thai spot. During this time, I have tried 6 other restaurants and I can tell you that Four J’s is by far the best. I ordered the Green Chicken Curry and it was amazing. The service had a real family feel to it and the presentation of the food was great too. They’re moving to a carry out only, which regardless, I will be back.
A really authentic mom and pop restaurant.Service and food came quickly.Ordered chicken satay, papaya salad, stir fried basil with chicken and the massaman curry with chicken. Everything was delicious. I gave 4 stars because the chicken in stir fried basil and massaman curry was over cooked, dried and rubbery. They won’t have the dine-in option starting October 20-something (sorry can’t remember) in 2021.
