We had several issues with our visit and they were mostly due to the service we received. We didn't get everything we ordered or not everything correct and when we asked for it to be fixed, it seemed like the waitress was annoyed. We also had to get our own additional silverware and napkins (our reservation was for 7 people but they originally put us at a table for six with napkins and silverware for 5). We also had to get our own water on a couple of occasions. Would not recommend going there at all.
Came here on Valentine’s Day and was disappointed with our overall experience. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, but it took an hour to receive my cocktail. We ordered a flatbread and it was not ready until we got our food, an hour and a half later. Tables near us that were seated after us had received appetizers and entrees while we waited. Once we received our entree, the orders were messed up completely. Loved the atmosphere, just wish we could have had a better experience.
Meal was way overpriced and food was not cooked as requested. I don’t blame the staff; they only had one waitress working. Food was sub par for the cost go; anywhere else but here.
Service extremely slow. Felt rushed by our server because restaurant was way under staffed for a Friday night. Food was slow to come to table and poor communication between management, kitchen and wait staff.
great service and food was prepared very good.
We dined here on NYE thinking it would be a fun alternative and to avoid the crowds that typically come with NYE. The restaurant is inside of a Hotel that is quite nice so we had high hopes for a positive experience. Those hopes were quickly extinguished. When we arrived the restaurant had no acknowledgement of our reservation. We had to flag a server down and let her know, she never asked for a name. Just took the number of people in our party (6) and started clearing a seating area. Prior to arriving, we scooped out the menu and were excited for some of the options. Be warned their online menu is NOTHING like what they offer in the restaurant. There were 5 options for dinner - two sandwiches (burger or chicken) and three entree (chicken, ribeye or salmon). Given there were 6 of us, we ordered one of every option and each of our orders was awful. The ribeye was paper thin, the salmon was fryer than the Sahara and and the chicken entree was very small in portion size. I think I have had better food on an airplane in economy. The only good thing about our experience, the service. Our server did his best to keep us stocked with drinks and made sure to come around as often as he could to check on us. Unfortunately the place was very short staffed. Long story short, if you are staying at the hotel and absolutely need to order food, this restaurant has food that will ensure you do not starve to death. If you have any other options, choose an alternative to Ember.
Service was awful. One server was covering the entire floor. We were the first table to arrive and yet, after 90 minutes, had to abandon ship before our food arrived so that we didn’t miss a show that we had tickets for. Server was overworked and we felt sorry for the her.
We've eaten at Ember a number of times in the past, and it has always been most enjoyable. Our first time back since lockdown in 2020, we were not surprised to see the menu had been cut back, but no matter; everything was absolutely delicious and a relaxing, enjoyable evening.
Best omelette I've had in a long time. Service is over the top fantastic. Everyone there has a wonderful attitude
