This place is great! They have a variety of authentic Mexican food and the best burgers I’ve had. The Azteca burger is my favorite. I go here all the time and I am always met by a very nice lady. Good food for good prices too!

First time here and the owner and staff was friendly, talkative and courteous. We received our drinks and the chips, salsa and cheese sauce setup. Chips were crisp and cheese dip was good, red salsa was okay however the best salsa was the roasted tomato and jalapeño which is darker, it wasn’t too spicy and was very flavorful. Wife had the guiso de puerco rojo which is cubed beef with potatoes, jalapeños, tomatoes and onions in red sauce. The meat was very tender and flavored well, wife enjoyed the rice which was harder for me, I prefer a softer rice, the whole beans were cleaned and soft but needed salt and seasoning. I had a cheese enchilada, it was good and crispy taco was full of flavored meat with toppings, I had the same sides. Overall okay.
It was a cold, wet, dreary day here in OKC when a friend called wanting Mexican food... but she wanted to go 'someplace different'. We've been on the search for a new favorite, so we wasted no time getting there for lunch. They have quite an extensive menu... but first things first: How's the salsa? And are the tortillas good? How about the cheese? The salsa is excellent! The tortillas fell a bit below the hopes of our friend, however... and the cheese seemed a bit bland. She likes thin, corn tortillas and these were a corn/flour combo... good, but not perfect. The luncheon special choices were plentiful and cost was competitive with other Mexican restaurants in the city. I had the Azteca Nachos and they were superb! They covered the platter - even with sharing them around the table, we couldn't eat them all. Others got the standard enchiladas with rice and beans and were very pleased with their choices. We also ordered a large order of guacamole which was also very tasty. Our tea glasses were kept filled; salsa refills were delivered promptly. They also brought us a good sized bowl of pickled onions/peppers/carrots. The service was outstanding and the value was good... we'll definitely go back to try some of their many other dishes. If they'd kick that cheese up a notch and switch to straight corn tortillas, this review would be 5 star across the board!
The tamales were delicious and so flavorful. We also had the chicken fajitas which were fresh tasting and perfectly seasoned. The service was quick and very friendly. I’d definitely come back!
