I ordered “The big earl sandwich”, it was delicious! The brisket was delicious, so was the pulled pork. Great restaurant and great customer service…… I will be back ?
Long ago they used to have decent cooks., Not so much anymore, cheddar burgers had an extra unexplained clear-ish liquid on top, chopped brisket sandwich soggy bun was just gross. 35$ togo order 2 sandwichs, was garbage
We went here looking for a good bbq in town and figured this place has decent ratings. Well, kind of wish we would have passed it by. I had the earls binge. The bologna was the sliced out of a package stuff...no smoke flavor and zero rub used. The ribs were dry, the hot link was not store made for sure but was decent and the brisket was, well not great. The deviled eggs were good and the side salad was good. Asked for the appetizer and salad to come out first, well the meals came then the salads and finally the appetizers. The appetizer was the earlapino and were good except they kept them on the skewer making It almost impossible to separate them between us without touching other's food. The sad part was I was given the runs by this meal and had an upset stomach all night.
Earls is my favorite BBQ place. The fact that they are always super busy testifies that the food is good. My favorite is the smoke stack. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
I've been on a hunt for the best burger in town and I have definitely found it here. Sides were great as well. I'll be back for some bbq or a burger again soon. Great service, excellent food.
No flavor the ribs just lack flavor or any kind of taste.. I don’t think they are even smoking the ribs they taste very oven baked. Should have known when I didn’t see the wood piles or smokers outside. $80 for baked tasteless bbq
The barbecue was dry and didn’t have any smoke flavor. The sauce was good but the meat was so dry. I hope they can improve this.
Okay. I usually do not give 3 stars in reviews.(After a reply from the owner I changed my review to four stars) It is not that the food was bad, it's the fact that when I asked if they had any burnt ends I was told they throw them away in the morning. WHAT! As a barbecue aficionado, when I was told by an employee that they throw away the brisket burnt ends I was automatically disappointed. As a Texan I was a little offended. Not to mention all the Texas license plates among others that decorate the walls were turned upside down. That's okay. I enjoy a little state to state rivalry. But to throw away brisket burnt ends is heresy. However. the pork ribs were very good as was the smoked turkey. I also enjoyed the pulled pork and fried okra. The restaurant itself was pleasant and provided a good environment to eat barbecue. Tje staff was very helpful, attentive and patient. Other than the burnt end issue I had a good time.
Ordered a chopped brisket dinner, got a shredded brisket dish. Potato salad was interesting, the beans had a burnt taste.
I usually don’t have issues with this location, but on today, I was shocked that the restaurant wouldn’t take my order for a burger because they were supposedly closing early due to it being slow. I arrived at 8:15 PM and was informed of the aforementioned. The confusing part is per Google, they weren’t scheduled to close until 9:00 PM. If this is their new way of conducting business, I would suggest that individuals call before making a trip.
