Extremely disappointed in everything. But not the worst Denny’s experience I’ve had, so I did 2 stars.Waitress was very poor. Food quality was subpar. Restroom had standing water puddle like something was leaking and pooled up.We got there at about 930 pm. Maybe a little after. They were very busy and short staffed, so I had conditioned myself for it to be slow. And was still very disappointed. They did seem to call in wait staff. So our order was taken at 9:53. Our waitress didn’t stop at our table again until 10:40. Drinks were empty. We tried to flag her down a couple times to get refills and Annabelle ignored us. My dad asked another waitress what was taking so long and she said she would inform our waitress. What I perceived as the manager walked by and asked if everything was alright, we said no and she didn’t care enough to find out why. Our food was finally brought out at about 10:46. Mushrooms were shriveled up like they were cooked and cooled down. Which was odd because everything was hot. I’m now wondering if the food may have been reheated. There was hardly any sauce on it and the chicken was very dry.I’ve bragged about how good the bourbon chicken sizzlin skillet is to my dad and this was my chance to show him. But it failed miserably and I know he’ll never bother with a Denny’s again. People who walked in after us had already left by the time we got our food. Maybe our waitress missed delivering our meal and they had to reheat it or something. I don’t know, but I won’t waste my time going to 74th street Denny’s again. I’ll drive to the one in Norman from now on.
Only leaving 1 star because the manager ignored our concern. We’ve been at this location several times and have seen the busboy stealing tips from the table before the waitresses can get them. If you leave cash tips make sure you hand them to the waitress, if we see it every time we go in I can only imagine how often it occurs. Manager said they couldn’t prove anything. The food is great and the waitresses are amazing
Wow! Yes, they get a wow b/c I have a gluten allergy and they made sure that I was safe! To clarify, I ordered a patty melt on the GF English Muffin. I know it sounds weird, and the manager thought so too, but it's great when you can't eat bread like everyone else. The manager actually went back and toasted the English Muffin, and made my entire patty melt himself, insuring that I did not get any gluten! It was so delicious! I know this place doesn't look like much, but the food is good and so is management, and those 2 things are not so easy to come by in fast food anymore. I'm only in that area a few times a year, but I think I'll probably head back there!
Denny's is a comfort place for me. If I want to think, to hangout, or to just enjoy their food, Denny's is the place that I immediately suggest.It's not the best place in the whole city but I've spent more time with my friends/by myself here than others.I deeply appreciate the homey atmosphere Denny's gives me.
Staff was great food was great. It was 4 am and had a blast with a party of 6. Gentleman who was our main server was great, wish I had caught his name. Thank you Dennys for the experience.
I usually have a good experience but when I went last night with my family, it was terrible. Our server who’s name was Lindsey, took our drink order and walked off in the midst of my cousin talking to her about a drink. After we received our drinks it was approximately 25 minutes before she came back to take our order she was very rude rushing the words out of our mouth so I said whatever and just let that go. Well the whole visit I got one refill and it wasn’t until the VERY end when I had to hunt down a waiter that wasn’t even ours… that’s still not even the worst okay whatever. Well it comes time for food and she’s serving us hot plates not telling us they’re hot I ended up burning my hand on two plates and then what made it unacceptable all together is her ALMOST DROPPING A BOWL OF HOT MAC N CHEESE ON MY TODDLER DUE TO HER RUSHING AROUND trying to get away from our table because it seems that’s what she wanted to do all night. I’ve never received service like this from this dennys but that is unacceptable.. if that would’ve fell on my toddler this review would be the last thing they should worry about. I don’t take laziness or inconsiderate as acceptable customer service. Literally do better
Actually make that 0 stars. My husband and I have gone to this Dennys for the last 15 or more years. The food was always decent. And there is a waitress named Rosey that we really like. So last night after work we decided to order but take it home. I ordered an order of nachos and ask them to add some lettuce and tomatoes on it. I told them if I had to pay extra I had no problem with that. My husband ordered a club sandwich and fries. Then we both ordered these chocolate chips cookie deserts with ice cream and carmel on top. Well the nacho chips were very stale. There was no cheese on them. Just some greesy meat. No lettuce no tomatoes. I had also asked for some sour cream on the side never got that either.The cookie things well the ice cream was melted but it was carry out so that I can over look. But the so called cookie was so hard that I could of used it as a hockey puck. My dog could not even bite it. I called back up there to complain and was told to come back and they would remake it. I had just got off working a 12 hour shift and did not want to go back up there. I wanted the person that took the order to be spoken too and the food problems addressed. But I just kept being told to come back and they would remake it. Why would I want more stale chips and nasty food.
I love the worker they are hard workers really responsible and respectful and caring always checking on you or they will always make sure everything is okay and there food was really delicious ? so was there fries I highly recommend ? going here
I've been there three times and every time my experienced was top of the line service no matter how my food was or tasted the wait staff has 5 stars from me and the food gets 4.5 stars thanks Dennys ?
An evening favorite, the meal was tasty and visually appealing. The atmosphere was pleasant. The only down side was the waitress. I had to go to the staff area 3 times during the meal to get drink refills, napkins, and sweeteners. Perhaps she was new or perhaps this was not the line of work she belonged in.
