Have eaten at Dan's for years and always enjoyed the food, ate there today 7/02/2022 and something has definitely changed, the meat was paper thin, bland and burnt black and dry. I asked for bacon and it was also burnt totally black on 1 side, we had an order of taters tots that were 1/2 cooked. I cannot imagine sending out an order like this, you could smell the char on all of it. When I picked it up, even the lady looked at it and said, a little burnt there isn't it. I hope they get back on track, we need good places to go, please pay attention to your quality, the food was still on the table when we left.
Went there today for the first time and didn’t even get serviced. We waited in line for 10 mins while this lady decides to have an entire conversation before ordering. Then after she ordered proceeded with her conversation. Both her and the old lady behind the counter working there couldn’t of cared less that we were waiting and waiting (I’d hate to think that was on purpose but you know ppl)- not to mention it was steamy hot in there.Bottomline we left and will not be going back.
Wish I could rate them ZERO stars. Even though I called my food in thirty minutes ahead of time, I got there and was told that it still wasn't ready. Forty minutes later I walked back to register to ask if it was ready yet, and was informed that it had been ready all along...and was told that the mix-up was my fault because I didn't tell them that I was there. Even though I had paid and been specifically told that it was not ready forty minutes earlier..... Their burgers are pretty good, but I will never eat there again.
They were closed for a couple weeks and now open again. I believe it's an ownership change. Burgers are not the same, only maybe 3 parts of onions on the burger and no flavor at all with the hamburger. I took 2 bites of the burger and that was it.The fries were not fresh, they have been sitting under the heat lamp for over 30 minutes inow not to mention how long they were there before I came in.I
they make a great Ole fashioned flat grilled onion burger. good flavor. However, French fries were swimming in grease could only eat the fries that were on top. Way greasy for me. I understand the guy on the grill is the grandson of the owners. he isn't old enough yet to take charge. there was a lot of playing and it was loud behind the counter with girls gigling and not doing their jobs....
I don’t recommend supporting this business in anyway. I also highly recommend not to work here.
Happen to come in here tonight about 20 minutes before close, they weren't upset though. Red head up front was really nice and it was also great to watch him cook the food. I think the soda had a lot of carbonation could use more syrup but overall, cute, quaint, older style, clean. Coming back

It had been a while. All remodeled and being run by Dan's grandson. Clean and neat. Burgers were as good as I remembered.
Best old fashioned burger joint in town. So glad to hear they’ll be staying out right where they are.
