Great hidden gem that I missed several times until I saw it on Google maps. It's an older building but once you step inside it was very welcoming. The waitress was doing a great job seating people, taking orders and serving food. Coffee was great and the food was cooked fresh to order. I will be coming back to try the many items on their menu.
This USE to be my favorite place but; I went to eat breakfast and the TWO waitresses there did not even acknowledge me, as I sat and waited to order a cup of coffee and a triple play. After sitting in a boot after waiting for 5 minutes for a total of 15 minutes, literally; I was acknowledge by the kind gentleman that was washing dishes as I headed to the front door and left. I wish the Older, waitresses were there, but I'm not returning to see and I wish this business well because it's not the same anymore ?P.S. there was another couple that came in as I was sitting in a booth, that was PROMPTLY seated and given water as I stayed seated and watched them being served. Question: what would you have done? Comments welcome
Twenty years ago this was my favorite spot for brunch, but a lack of reinvestment in the facility and worsening food quality make it pretty mediocre today. They still have the best orange juice in town though.
The food was amazingly delicious and reasonably priced! The staff is very friendly and we can't wait to visit again. This will be our new breakfast spot! Great menu options...I had a hard time making a meal choice!
Awesome little hole in the wall Cafe. Not going to lie, was a little skeptical upon pulling up as its a bit run down on the outside... But the food was quite delicious!! The homemade cinnamon roll was on point! The perfect amount of warmth, soft sugary goodness. The omelet was quite tasty as well!
The hashbrowns were excellent as were the prices. The waitress was friendly but overloaded from a near full restaurant. The ribeye was thin but that was expected for the price. The coffee was good too. The pecan waffle was excellent too. Overall, I want to go back to try other items.
I’m biased. I’ve been eating here for 30+ years. Practically grew up here. It’s changed *a lot* over the years but some things are still the same: Fresh squeezed OJ, cheesy grits, and Classen Grill potatoes. This place is old school OKC.
Food was unique and very good. Had the breakfast enchiladas and banana and peanut butter french toast. Also dont forget to ask for their homemade salsa for some kick. Very good and i highly recommend.
My husband and I stopped in for a lunch date and were very pleased!! I order the Okie Omelette and it was flavorfully delicious!! Loved that the owner took the time to come out and greet us. Enjoyed the mimosas with fresh squeezed orange juice. Great customer service, lots of menu options and delicious food!! Will definitely go back and try a different platter.
Once a great place, another victim of Covid.
