The meal was very good and the service was awesome. Our waiter was Antonio. He not only gave our table great service but I watched as he gave the same great service to all his customers.
I absolutely love the wait staff! The cheese and salsa are complementary and food is always hot and fresh.. hands down a great Mexican restaurant to go to on the fly or like I do on the regular! ?
Not a fancy place but felt authentic. Food was flavorful. We got the fajitas, beef & chicken and the portions were generous. Service was friendly. Over all good experience.
America was the waitress name and she was very sweet and nice. Food was good
We love Chelino’s. We have been over the years to see location after location close. We loved the two May Ave locations. Anyway, craving the Chelino’s AWESOME salsa we found the location on NW EXPRESSWAY. The food was great but when my husband went to the bathroom; an employee was happy n there and when he finished he did not wash his hands. Ruined the experience.
We made a reservation for 1pm through Google since we had 10 people coming. We arrived 15 minutes early, we were told they knew nothing about it. The manager rudely said "Well 1pm is still 20 minutes away, you'll have to wait." Then walked away. That's exactly what happened, we were not seated until 5 minutes after 1pm, when we all were crowding the front door. The service was okay, not bad but definitely could have been more attentive, had to get the waitresses attention several times as she was walking by not paying attention to us. The food was good, not the best but good. I feel like we would have received better service without the reservation, because they seemed to have an attitude about it. The restroom was horribly filthy. The paper towels were sitting in a roll on the counter with water spots all over it where people had to handle them. I felt dirty just being in it. I doubt I will ever return, there's Many other Mexican restaurants to choose from.
Absolutely our favorite location. So friendly, attentive, and the food is always perfect. Been going here for years and hope to see this location thrive more and stick around for many more years to come.
My boyfriend and I had a valentines lunch here!Everything was so delicious and they have big portions, I ended up taking half of my burrito to go!!The complimentary soapilla’s, (that’s definitely misspelled), were so delicious!! They tasted homemade and almost like a cinnamon sugar donut??We will definitely be returning!!
This was probably one of the worst Mexican food places I ever been to -it’s like the fast food of Mexican restaurants - the salsa and queso are very watery- the main course was very bland - didn’t have a single ounce of color my whole plate was just brown and unseasoned! Fries were soggy and no flavor not even salt - tacos were 90% cheese and 10% meat! I would not recommend this if you’re looking for Mexican food - I would go anywhere else it’s not worth the money or the time - the only reason I didn’t give it one star is because the waiter I had was extremely nice and the service was actually good but the food was not !
GREAT STAFF!My husband got called away for an important phone call before the food arrived. It turned out LENGTHY, and they were SO GRACIOUS to take his food back to keep it warm until he came back. That was SO NICE of them!!GREAT FOOD!I had the shrimp cocktail: YUUUUUMMMMMYYY!!!!!And I had two crispy beef tacos: also yummy.Hubby had the Compa (I think, can't remember the name). Anyway, it's basically like mixed meat (beef, chicken, shrimp) fajitas already mixed, with peppers and onions and covered in cheese. I have to say: for being KEPT WARM for awhile, the meat was REALLY tender! Yummy!! He had rice and guacamole for his sides.
