I was surprised at my total of $22.78 for this meal (including a canned Diet DP), for only me. The Pickle Fries did run it up, at $5.99. When I was paying, I got an "add a tip" option. Running through my mind: I'm paying double what I would have at Jersey Mike's so this better be dang good, it didn't come with table service or any other service I don't normally get with fast food, BUT the guy behind the counter will see this before making my food.What do you do? The Philly Steak was good but everything else was meh.
I got the Italian beef & sausage dipped with fries & a lemonade, my husband got the spicy sausage with fries & drink & we ordered onion rings. The Place was not dirty per say, but not too clean either, like they didnt care too much and only did a half job. No hand sanitizer in the dispenser at the front door, bathroom has no soap, & no toilet paper. The sausage & Italian beef were tasty but not hot or fresh nor did it look like the picture on the menu- there was hardly any Italian beef but lots of bell peppers. No flavor on fries or onion rings & asked for the fries to be extra crispy which they were not. Bun was hard to cut through with a plastic knife and kind of elastic like. Don't know if that was due to it being dipped so it was a bit soggy or that's just how it's made. I am willing to give them another try in the future just to see if it's any better than this first impression I got today.
I’m a long time Chicagoan who moved here few years ago. I miss Chicago food so much. Spotted this tiny establishment and it exceeded my expectations! I’m back on Taylor Street for a bit. Ordered the Italian beef dipped of course with sweet peppers. And the memories flood back. I’ll be sure to stop in again soon.
Came in on a sunday with the family for lunch around 1:30. Upon entering we were greeted with a friendly welcome and smiles! Love the aesthetic of the interior, very immersive, plus frank Sinatra bumpin made a great experience!Food was amazing! Soo good!

Food was great but a little on the pricey side. Had the Italian beef and sausage and a Philly cheesesteak delivered- $33. The online picture makes you think this would come with fries, kind of like a meal…..nope!
i absolutely love this place it reminds me of home! my favorite is the Italian beef and sausage but they have new vienna beef chili dog for only $6.99!! That’s definitely making a making a close run for my second favorite!
$11 for a chili cheese dog, fries and drink where the hotdog has no taste/flavor chili is from a can and fries were barely cooked. Hot dog and chili got cold real quick which makes me wonder if it's all heated up in a microwave. Also had to wait quite some time to get food while staff was busy yacking and giggling. McDonald's would be just as good,, better fries and not near as expensive. Definitely, won't be back.
Really tasty food! I like the menu options. The sandwiches and burgers are good, but the fries came out not so hot for me and a few others in our group. My grandparents ordered right after me and there were several orders out after them that got their food first. They explained a “mixup” with the ticket, but it had been so long that it felt more like they just forgot their orders. Things happen and that’s ok. But it was a long time.Also wish they offered a kids cheeseburger option. That’s what my daughter wanted and they couldn’t make one, so I had to get the $8 big burger with nothing on it. Good thing she was hungry that day! She said the burger was very good!
Great Philly cheesesteaks! I’m sure everything is good based upon how good this Philly is.My only suggestions would be to add a cheese wiz option and root beer to the drink options.Other than that 10 outa 10I’ll be back again soon
