We have been coming here for several years and have watched this place slowly decline since new management has taken over. The food quality has declined and is not consistent. Have witnessed too much uncalled for drama coming from kitchen staff. So unprofessional. The wait staff is great and thank God for Amber who is the only reason we keep coming back. She is the best and knows how to run the whole place. Sad to see this place going down. We have met many new friends here. Any one out there looking for a great bartender?????? Go recruit Amber.
Rachel is amazing! Fast, friendly service, food served so hot it burned my mouth. Bailey was so right about the French fries and chicken fried steak:)) yummy! The food is so good we gorged ourselves and still had enough for two big take out boxes! Definitely recommend the onion and jalapeño slivers. Thanks for a great dinner we will definitely be back. ?
It is a pretty nice place. We got there really early, so the place was quiet. The waitress is friendly and efficient. Having said that, we didn't mind that the waitress wanted to visit with a couple who was eating there, but she should visit with them facing the rest of the restaurant. She had her back to the rest of the restaurant, so we had a difficult time getting her attention. The ribeye steak was "ok". Something was amiss. It was not meaty, it was soft, almost like reconstituted steak. The flavor was good. The chicken fried steak was good. Overall, pleased with this place.
Best steak I have had that I didn’t cook myself. It was a perfect Medium-Rare. First of about 10 steak houses that got it right in the first fry. Well done chef!
I stopped in to try a new-to-me place, plus, the daily lunch special was enticing: 6 Oz steak and side for $8,95. I didn't think to ask the price. It's posted on the board as you enter.I got my steak. Medium rare, which to the cook meant brown outside, grill marks, cold inside. The salad was good. The service was good. The ticket arrives and negative surprise, the special for $8.95 is really $12.73 plus a 10% covid upcharge (I guess...). So, my $8.95 lunch is now twice that to $15, plus a $3 tip. Total $18.50.I was disgusted, angry, and left not to return. You only get one chance for a first impression, and Bill... ya'll failed.
This is the most pathetic side salad I ever seen 1/2 cut lettuce one random spinach and fried onions.. like are you serious.. where is the cheese where is the tomato this is disappointing and the mashed potato look like powdered mashed potatoes.. never again..
I am very disappointed in this experience. We decided on this place because it was a local, not a chain. We both ordered the ribeye and loaded baked potato and a to go order of ribeye and shrimp. We also got two appetizers and two mixed drinks. The fried mushrooms were tasty but just regular pull from a bag frozen and drop in a deep fryer tasty. Our service from our sweet, young waitress was great. The idea that there was no complimentary bread and we had to pay extra for a baked potato or house salad was a bit disappointing but we still had high hopes. Our steaks came quickly and we were very hungry. But the disappointment came with the first cut. The meat was so fatty that neither of us could eat it. It literally had no flavor but fat and grease and it was served with a side of plain toast. The loaded potato we ordered was just a regular small potato with a dollop of butter and sour cream and a very few sprinkles of bacon and a few shreds of cheese. I brought my steak home to my dog. He seemed to like it. $120 bucks for potatoes I could have pulled from a 5lb potato bag at the grocery store,meat that was literally unfit to eat and some toast. I mean, the Angry Apple Pie drink was nice,mostly ice, but good. Never Ever Again! Straight YUCK! I have never had meat that bad. Super low quality gross meat. So that’s why I went to a steak restaurant. Left me feeling mildly nauseous from the grease on what I attempted to eat and MUCH too light in my wallet for the garbage that was served!, ?The picture is of my sister in law’s steak. She eats hers medium well so much more of the fat was reduced but still thin and fatty. I already fed mine to the dog. It was cooked rare and rather than red inside it was mostly gelled white fat. I wish I had taken a picture of that one first. Just terrible.
First time eating here. Prices are great for good food and drinks. The wife and I did a paint and wine class there. Had a great time. I was over charged for our bar tab. Our bill had 3 too many drinks on it. It was only $9 total so I left it on there without saying anything. I just deducted the $9 from tip. If the drinks were a honest mistake or intentional the small tip was just.
Steak was excellent and very tender. Fried shrimp was frozen shrimp but good flavor. Prices have understandably gone up from what you see on the internet, but they have great sales during the week. I would recommend for a relaxing good meal. Service was fast and very friendly.
Was amazing. Good steak! I just have one question. Why was I charged a 10% increase on my ticket. We only had 4 people at the table. And each of us had a 10% increase. Is 4 people considered a large group! Anyways we were just wondering!
