First visit here. Adored the chef, sous chef/ owners. I had the Greek gyro ( is there really any other type of gyro?) With their homemade onion rings, and hubby had their hamburger and French fries. I can say, without hesitation that this was the BEST gyro I have ever had, and their cucumber sauce was delicious. The onion rings-fabulous with a flavorful coating that complimented the onions beautifully. Hubby's Hamburger was delightful and the meat actually filled the bun and it was not a frozen patty either. French fries were very tasty and stayed crispy for the drive home. Loved the meal and we will return for more. Food was cooked to order and available in a reasonable time, less than 10 minutes.
3/24-Enjoyed my food. Burger was flavorful and big. Fries were perfect. Great job*Edit* 3/25- y'all I went back the next day for more!!!! I am addicted ?? this time I got the flaming D with chili cheese fries and OMG they don't miss. It was all soooo good!! Definitely a 5 star meal. Keep it up. You have a forever customer.P.s. the guy taking orders is always on point and very nice.
Oldest (As far as I know, besides a vanilla place like McDonald's) and best burger place in OKC. Lots of history of their rise and fall, quite a story I remember from when I lived in the area, fairly tragic and filled with deep love for ones wife.The buns have a perfect crisp to the bottom and french fries are always perfect. In fact, when I eat at other hole in the wall joints looking for a good burger, I ALWAYS compare then to Big Ed's to see if they are any good.
Love the big burgers but I don't see none of the employees wearing gloves or mask. Because of COVID I find this mandatory!!
We liked it a lot. I'd recommend the gyro over the hamburger. Really great fries. Be prepared to wait about 10 minutes for your order to arrive.Get your own drink and refills.

This is a small local family owned restaurant that's been around since the 70s. They are best known for the hamburgers and hand cut fries. Whatever you order, it's made fresh after you order just for you. If you have a group, they even make hamburgers the size of a pizza!!!!
Their burgers are awesome!Try the Flaming Ed..The gyro salad is off the list for me..to be quite honest.. I do not like the way they prepare your lunch with no gloves on.Thank you!
