Azteca is our absolutely favorite restaurant in OKC. Family-owned Mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen but this one always stood out for us. Raul's family always made us feel welcomed and always went out of their way to say hello. It is the only restaurant that we will drive 30 minutes to since we moved.
Azteca Mexican Food was the best Mexican Food I have eaten in years. A small locally owned restaurant the food is authentic. You are welcomed from the moment you walk in and treated royally until you leave. The complimentary chips salsa and queso were excellent. A must on your trip to OKC.
Enjoyed this restaurant for the first time and left with an outstanding first impression, good enough to return in the future.The service was prompt and friendly, even when the entire seating area was packed full.You get complimentary chips, salsa and queso — decent but nothing to shout from the rooftops, but still delicious.We ordered the Pizzadilla Azteca (quesadilla with added pico and bacon) and Parrillada with chicken/beef combo, and both meals were impressive with a generous portion.Highly recommended to anyone craving Mexican food!
My sister warned me that this place wasn’t good but it was hard to believe because it’s always packed and the reviews are good. This is Mexican food for white people. I truly don’t understand how this place is so popular. My enchiladas tasted like they were doused in canned sauce. My husband didn’t finish his nachos. Service seemed friendly enough. It just was so bland.
Great little place. A co worker took me for lunch. Quaint atmosphere and very friendly staff made our experience very pleasant.The food was hot fresh and delicious. We loved it. Im picky about the cheese sauce but I loved it so much I ask for another bowl.I got the fajitas. The steak was very tender and well seasoned.Well be back for sure.
The owners are very classy and always there, super friendly. They always go all out with decorations as well it's very esthetically pleasing. This service is always wonderful and the food is so good! Don't forget to order their spicy sauce that it is smoky and delicious!
We have been coming here for years. The food is always fresh, the staff is super attentive. The owners are always on site and welcome everyone that comes through the door. We have had large groups here and they accommodated our needs perfectly. The owner does a great job of decorating for every season/holiday. I would definitely try this place if you haven't already!
Incredible family restaurant. You are family when you walk in, but this is better than mama's cooking. Tonight the beef kabobs melted in my mouth on top of those roasted hot peppers. Try something new and get a new favorite.
Azteca has come under scrutiny in the last few days! I wanted to find out for myself just what kind of establishment this was! So we went to dinner tonightI have to say it was fabulous!!! They had amazing food, great service and were kind and loving owners who went out of their way to make sure we were welcomed. I just want to encourage you to go try the food and show Azteca that our community knows they love and support us!!!
Great service and great food. We arrived with a large group, almost 20 people, and the people of Azteca were quick to make room for all of us. The food was delicious and well prepared.
