I recently stayed at the Sheraton while attending a concert it the Paycom center. The show was Thursday night and we checked out before noon on Friday. By 2 pm I realized I had left my makeup bag hanging on the bathroom door and called the hotel. They took my number and said they would call me if they found it. I told them what room and exactly where in the room. It’s not a matter of finding but having honest employees to return it to the owner. I have called them again and they are “still looking for it”. Very disappointing in this organization.
Great staff, great food!Didn't feel like to venture out so did the lazy choice to dine at the hotel and I did not regret!Like other review mentioned, Braden is a gem! such a hospitable guy and genuine. Recommended the food off the menu and I did enjoy the pasta dish and the crispy Brussels sprouts.Their burgers look pretty good too. Will try it out in the near future!
The smell in the room was terrible. Smelled every time the air came on. Musty/moldy smell. Smelled the worst in closet and open area by bathroom. Made us all start coughing and left the hotel coughing. We were in room 824. Please check air returns and filters.
The lobby was very pretty and most staff we encountered were helpful. Room was just ok...nothing exciting - bathroom was super small - not much room to close door between you and the toilet and definitely not big enough for two people to use sink at one time. Water pressure was good and water was hot for the 8th floor but the shower head is kind of odd especially for taller folks. There is currently no daily room servicing unless you ask and they are quick to supply you with needed items like towels. Our biggest headache was the parking deck. We rented a Tacoma truck and it is a twisty tight space in and out of the deck. You also have to use multiple paper cards to get in and out of the deck. The deck is not run by Sheraton but the city. We encountered multiple people having trouble using the tickets to get in - once we even had to back down so the person could back up and go to a different floor. If you use the deck you will need to look for the signs for the Sheraton entrance - there are many but they kind of blend in and cars or trucks may be obstructing them from your view. Don't use the elevators in the middle as they take you to offices not the hotel. You can tell there have been some renovations to the hotel but the age is evidenced in the bathroom crevices, wood off door and patches to ceiling. Personally we would choose another hotel just to avoid the parking hassle again.
Braden was fabulous and made the evening! He was prompt, courteous, funny, friendly, and a joy to have as a server. Thank you, Braden! Cocktails were great, so kudos to the bartender as wella
This is a good hotel in a central location but it has some drawbacks. The rooms are comfortable but lack character and are a little cramped. The decor is ok but bland. The staff are good but don’t stand out. All in all, I’d be happy to stay again but this isn’t somewhere I yearn to return to.
Sheraton is close to the Paycom Center thus why we picked it. The hotel is nice and has a good location downtown. The room was standard, nothing fancy. As with many hotels there was deferred maintenance that needed done like large stains on the ceiling and floor stains. No electric vehicle charging which was a negative. They have signs in the hallway for quiet hours between 10pm and 7am but clearly no one can read as 2am came and drunk girls were screaming in the hall. Stay was ok but probably would try another hotel next time.
First visit: calm and exceptional, bartender was patient and took the time to doublecheck that I could use a given payment method. Second visit: same bartender, confirmed the info that I received upon first visit. Not long after, a server walked behind the bar and coldly refuted said bartender’s confirmation. Same bartender walks up, looks annoyed, then proceeds to let me know that none of them have time for this because look at all these rich folks. I’m sure this spot is a joy when there are less than 10 guests and adequate staffing. Will most likely return, but not without proper reconnaissance.
Walked in and was completely ignored by two different servers. They clearly saw me and just put their head down and ignored me when I tried to get their attention. Only got the name of one which was Asa simply because that’s how close he was to me and yet still managed to ignore me. Would if had to grab him to get him to stop I guess.
Excellent stay!! Chandler at check in was super helpful and welcoming. It was a great walking distance to the arena for the Thunder game. The only downside is we saw pool not realizing it was an outdoor pool. The kids were disappointed about that. But other wise a great stay.
