Although I didn't think this venue would compare to some place like a real amphitheatre or large theatre I would expect a school of music to have an acoustically decent venue. I was wrong. The sound quality is what you would expect in a basement or large bathroom. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because it draws great artists for a very affordable concert cost to the Midwest... Otherwise skip it.Also they don't serve alcohol..... So that is terrible
This was a fun discovery! I went to hear the Mike Dillon Band at noon. The band of course was fantastic, and the venue was unusual. Student -oriented, I guess?
Small, compact space. Super hot in building. Some fans or better air flow would be ideal. Great for a small concert though.

Should be 3.5...3 felt low. I've seen probably 4 different events here. Lighting is not great, beverage options are slim and sometimes no alcohol, and acoustics are only pretty good in about 3 locations. The location is excellent and I live that size of venue.
Great small venue, show was sold out standing room only. Good sound, highly recommend
Saw Parker Millsap. The venue was nice. Easy to find.

Really enjoyed the show. Decent acoustics. Could've been a little cooler in there though.
Very intimate venue. The staff wasn't rude. The makeshift bar area was accommodating with special drinks. For a concert in July it felt great in there. Until the concert started. They cut off the air conditioning. Maybe it was so the sound wouldn't be compromised. But it was so ruthlessly hot in there. I'm really shocked nobody passed out. I wish they had fans or something to circulate the air. It was so stuffy that going outside in July felt better than being in there. The concert was still amazing. And worth standing in heat prison for hours.
