If you are from a place where you eat real authentic Mexican food I would not recommend this location. The food taste as if it came from a can. Literally! The chili taste like hormel can chili . The chicken enchilada was some sort of soggy tortilla with possibly the can enchilada sauce . The chicken inside was a long strip of soggy chicken. The taco was okay . The tamale was about 3 inches and I don’t know what it was made with but definitely not an authentic tamale . The chips and salsa was decent . The best part of the meal was the beans . Now this review is based off my taste. I am from New Mexico where we have authentic Mexican and New Mexican food . Now Aside From the food. The place was beautiful! The staff was nice. The bar didn’t have much options so I just got shots of tequila tequila.
Wonderful lunch. I ended up having their lunch buffet which was lovely. Next time I go I will order off the menu as I saw plates go by that were spectacular. I wasn’t disappointed at all. The service was impeccable
I'll go ahead and make a written review since the owner responded. The atmosphere was great! The plants and fountain really made for a peaceful, unique experience. I noticed a lot of the staff very morose. Our waiter was great but seemed the same way. The food I felt was warm but not freshly hot feeling. I will go again someday and maybe revise my review. Thank you!
This place is amazing! Great food an the scene you get while being there makes you feel like home! Would recommend ?
Great place if you like cucarachas.Seriously though, service was good, food was okay. But, as we were finishing our meal, I found a cockroach crawling across my shirt. Finding a cockroach at the table causes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. I'll never eat here again.
My Abuelo would be so embarrassed by this meal. It’s covid days so the food was delivered. It was nicely packed. The adult meal was three cheese enchiladas rice and beans. The kids meal was a bean and cheese burrito with french fries. Both meals looked like something the Velveeta cheese company would offer as they were drowned in goopy cheese. The refried beans began their day freeze dried and hadn’t quite made it back to their wet form. The rice was ok. The french fries were passable as was the guacamole that likely was portioned out yesterday waiting in the refrigerator over night. Overall I’d say skip Abuela’s.
Deliciousness! ?? The guacamole was EVERYTHING!
I've been here several times in the past but it has been about 2 years since my last visit. In my opinion the food quality/flavor has declined. The queso definitely was not as good as in the past. The server must have been new as he was not able to answer some of our questions. I did not let the server affect my review though, it was strictly due to the food quality. Oh and I had a noticeably dirty spoon with food debris still on it in my silverware roll. A little more care needs to be taken when rolling silverware to keep that from happening. I will still eat here again and would recommend but I hope that the quality returns soon.
This was the first time for my husband and I to go here, the atmosphere was awesome. I love the way they have it set up there, it has a cozy feel to it. The server was excellent, she was also the bartender. The food was really really good and the prices were really awesome too, they have a lot to choose from and I'm sure everything on their menu is good. I believe everyone will like the atmosphere a lot and you'll want to come check it out. They have two rooms for big parties, I would suggest this establishment for anybody that wants to enjoy a good meal and relax. This was our first time to be here but it will not be our last.
Our waitress was wonderful. Helped my kid order what he wanted off the menu. I remember when this location opened. Very different vibe now. They offer a lunch buffet. My eyes were definitely bigger than my belly! Took most of The Grande platter home!
