this is the first tropical smoothie cafe i have been to that has a drive thru. the cashier also handed me my receipt without asking if i want a receipt. the avocolada smoothie actually tasted like all the ingredients listed which also means they are making the smoothies properly. the price is also quite reasonable only around $6 per smoothie. compare that to about $9 or $11 per smoothie at smoothie king and this place is better in more than one way vs the competition. great smoothies and has a drive thru AND customer service is textbook proper. you cannot possibly complain about this place.
Don’t go there after 8:29 pm, their oven seems to be broken at that time, coz they’re lazy and want to go home early, first two times it was oven off, then after a 10 min talk they turned it back on, but this time the oven was broken lol and always 30 min before closing time.That’s what happens to businesses when you put kids to run it 4u.
I dont leave negative reviews often, but good lord. I want to love this tropical smoothie but I order the same thing each time, and it's always different. I got chia banana boost and Its missing something. It taste like blended water and protein. IF I ever go back to this location, i am taste testing and sending it back because it's an absolute waste of money. Please get employees on the same page. This was my lunch, I am headed out or I'd go back and have them look for themselves at this blended ice.
Was here in the afternoon and the crew is great, wish I would have tip more. Smoothie was well made, but my wrap was phenomenal
I went in for Jetty Punch and Bahama Mama smoothies with a friend and they both tasted like water. There was absolutely no flavor, and when I brought it back in to ask if they would remake it, they just handed me one that was already sitting on the counter…and it still tasted like water. I’ve never been one to go back into a store and ask to have my order fixed, but they didn’t even remake it. The smoothie is virtually undrinkable because it tastes like nothing. These smoothies are way too expensive to be made poorly, and I was disappointed at the lack of accommodation.
They are definitely not near as good as servers as the other Norman tropical smoothie. This one is very minimal in helpfulness. I will be giving the other location my business
I wont go to this location anymore. They need to hire people that actually know to make a smoothie also I dont appreciate being rushed and speak to rudely in the drive thru.
if you like tropical, don’t go to this location. they will absolutely ruin it for you. i used to love tropical smoothie and ever since the management changed last year the customer service has been absolutely horrible. they like to belittle you and make you feel like you are not worth any of their time whatsoever. i understand times are hard now and it’s not easy getting up and working a fast food job every day, but you can still be respectful to the people who are paying you to do what you do. this location used to be my favorite location until i started feeling judged and ridiculed every time i walked through those doors. and their food is not that good either. i’ve also seen ants behind the counter before, lol.
Wanted to say thank you to todays staff for making the best buffalo chicken wrap I’ve ever had from Tropical smoothie. It truly made my day!
Have recently discovered this tsc and food is good but customer service is horrible! The worker “tabitha” complained about customers when I was inside and have been ignored at register so the workers could finish up their conversation which is clearly more important than taking orders. Would like to know how they prioritize their customers considering I’m usually the one waiting on them.
