Excellent food and service in a small specialty restaurant. Had the special of the day which was a chicken fried chicken breast sandwich on sourdough toast with fries. It was the largest piece of chicken I've ever had on a sandwich! Phenomenal taste crispy breading on a huge piece of chicken. The fries were great too. They were very busy but service was not impacted. Also had a cheese burger with avocado and bacon.
The service station has changed very little over the last 20 years, which gives it a vintage vibe at this point. Honestly, that's one of the main things I like about it.
Atmosphere cozy. Good decent bar type food. Stuck w burgers which were nice. Cody was friendly. Convenient that it has its own parking lot.
Just a great place. Really good food and drinks. Their chicken salad is some of the best I ever had.
I like this little restaurant. Definitely has an old school pub kind of a feel and I actually ate outside on the patio which was just an awesome experience as the sun was going down and they turned all their lighting on out there was definitely a good vibe. The food was great as well and we spoke to the owner who was a really good person. Everything that I'd have to say about this place is all positive nothing negative to think about or say towards this place whatsoever.
I have eaten here several times over the past few years and I have never had anything bad, or bad service. It's truly one of the places I count on when I'm looking for consistency. Everything about it is just right down to the old metal signs on the wall. Love it!!
I can't even BEGIN to tell you how GREAT the food, atmosphere, staff, etc., were at The Service Station. The filet I had here would have cost a hundred dollars or more in some places. You could LITERALLY cut it with a fork. The salmon was exquisite, and I CAN'T BELIEVE, I've been living in Norman 4 months and didn't know about this place. Best meal of in four months... Check that, probably for YEARS!
I only went for drinks one time, but the server was very attentive and I love the atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.
The patio was perfect, service from Kirsten was friendly, funny and fast. A great dinning experience!
After eating here for years, this week I was treated horribly by a server at this restaurant, over a simple request. Stay away unless you want to be treated like trailer trash.
