I hoped for healthy food. The kung pao chicken was fried until it was difficult to identify chicken in the dish.
The best Chinese I’ve had in Norman since I’ve lived here. The food is always flavorful and the boba is delicious!
Extremely disappointed with Tea Cafe. First time trying it after my son had been asking for about a week that he wanted to try it. Cashier was nice, but the first time around she didn’t get my my complete order on drinks. I order a sprite and coke. I had to go back up and order the coke that was missing. Once I received our food order I notice that my hibachi steak I ordered was not on there. Instead I got a steak pho. I got her attention and informed her about the mistake (#2). She took the pho and said “my bad” and walked away. Nobody came to talk to me or anything. The manager came about 20 minutes later with my correct order and informed me about the price difference. I went ahead and paid the difference since the food was on the table in front of me already. I really didn’t mind paying but it was the fact that there was no communication from him prior to correcting the mistake. He even admitted that the cashier had mess up but was stuck on the price difference. The food was okay but not worth what I paid and all the mistakes made.
I loved their fried rice, and very nice chefs too!
lovveee this place! the food is great, the staff are friendly, i come in after my morning class for lunch and i never wait long. very clean inside as well.
Tea Cafe is consistently one of the best restaurants in Norman for the last decade. Delicious hot and cold drinks. Tasty and satisfying food. Highly recommend
First time trying out their pho and also as a to-go order. Wish they put fresh cilantro/green onion toppings on instead of rotten ones.
Sweet merciful god. I hope you like your thai tea tooth-achingly saccharine. Definitely avoid this if you're aching for a boba tea but you don't have a sweet tooth.
Food wasn't all that good
I used to love tea cafe but they have gone downhill quickly. I ordered the tofu fried rice and got Chicken... not good. The girl working was very nice and understanding and even gave me a coupon to get my meal again for free at a later date. Well today’s the later date. I got my fried rice and there’s no vegetables in it.... that took actual effort. It’s literally a bowl of sticky rice and brown tofu chunks. It’s not hard to notice something is missing here. Absolutely unacceptable to get my order so completely wrong two times in a row. 3 stars Bc the girl at the front is nice.
