Took my kids here for the first time this morning. Was greeted as soon as we walked in. Very pleasant and clean place. Donuts were tasty :)
I have been going to Shipley donuts my entire life and this is the WORST location ever. The counter person LIED. I have NEVER gone to a Shipley restaurant at opening time and asked for Fresh, Hot donuts and told I would receive them and then receive yesterdays donuts. Then I tried to call back and the phone number goes to a cell phone that is not being answered. I have had Shipley counter people say, I don’t have Hot, but I have Warm OR No, I don’t have Hot right now and I am not making any, any time soon, but I have NEVER in decades had a counter person LIE. I am so ticked off.
first and last visit to this store. went at 9 am and I swear they were the heaviest donuts I have ever gotten. seems they dont know how to leaven their dough
The donuts were stale and not warmed I spent 30 dollars and I was completely disappointed I will NEVER go back to to this location
If I wanted a fresh cinnamon roll, I should have went yesterday. Because these were not fresh. Plus they tasted like old grease. First time trying. Last time going. Life is too short to eat dry, stale donuts.
Always fresh and soft donuts and kolackes. Staff is friendly and fast!
This hidden gem has the best service, freshest donuts and most flavorful coffee. I will fight anybody on this. The service was amazing, the prices are great and the gals working today are so incredibly thoughtful and creative. Will definitely be coming back for my office donut needs.
I really wanted this to be a good experience because the lady at the register was SO nice, but this first trip will be our last.The biggest problem I see is with their drive thru. They have two vague menus that don’t actually tell you what they have, then they don’t take your order until you get to the window. This causes a huge back-up in the line. From their appearance you would expect and more well run, high end establishment, but they operate like a slow going mom and pop.My burnt, inedible apple fritter had a hair cooked in. See pic. The other two donuts were just ok, and the kolaches are basically pigs in a blanket.I hate tone deaf company replies, like the one below. They demonstrate that the company doesn’t really care, and ensures I will never return.
Service is wonderful! People very friendly but sadly the donuts taste terrible. Sorry I was hopeful. But even McDonald's apple fritters are better.
The staff seem bothered I had went in with my husband a few months ago. Service rude and bothered.. stayed away went in again.. ride and bothered. Did not give us the correct items and they treated like day old instead of just made.. will not ever be back..
