I go just for the Ahi tuna sandwich. It is seared and less than cooked through, just like it should be. Fantastic! The rest of their menu is solid all over. The owners are food people more than bar owners, but I never complained about their pours, either.Try the pan roasted green beans. I have never had beans like them at any other place. The spuds are huge. The burgers are creative. I love the French dip! It’s all good!

Been here a few times, and the service was excellent; they were fast and awesome, but this time it was awful. I had Greg as a server, and I had to ask him three times just for water. Then he brought out the wrong food, and I had to wait 5 minutes to get my food. Then I tried to call him over for over 10 minutes to get my check and boxes. I had to YELL across the bar to get his attention so we could get the bill and leave. It still gets two stars because every other time was great.

Absolutely horrible service. Entered the restaurant at 1pm and it was not busy. Ordered at 1:15, waked out at 1:45. In that 30 minutes, the server never came over to our table but checked on the 3 tables that cane in after who also got their food before us. This kind of service is completely unsatisfactory. It's this is the way they run this business, they will never earn my business again.

I'm so torn. We were all set to have Penny Hill be our favorite restaurant. You know, I should have known, when we got there the guy next to us was telling the waitress he hadn’t decided if he wanted another and no, he was not done with what he had. I thought it strange, So sorry dude, I had no idea. We came for lunch and after we ordered, some one besides our waitress brought some of our food, not all. We had to ask for the rest. We didn’t see the waitress for some time after that. When we did start to leave, we asked if my husband could have a little more gravy for his chicken fried steak. Which was delicious, by the way. Anyway, we didn’t need a whole extra order of gravy, just a little dollop. So, there’s an extra charge, I see that, I guess. But then, I said, “What if we weren’t leaving and he just wanted needed a little extra gravy?” and she said, “Yes, it costs, nothing is free.” Wow. And then, she asked if we wanted dessert, and my husband, (already mad) said, “Nope, don’t want to pay extra.” She turned around and said, “Well, you know, Food costs money” Is this what you call customer service?? 1) Don’t argue with me at the table. 2) Don’t talk to me like I am stupid. AND THEN, I could hear her talking to the bartender about us. Yes, girl, I could hear you. I was going to call, because there is no way you can hear the tone in which she spoke to us. But I want this seen. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to get my husband to eat there again. We order a lot through Door Dash, maybe we’ll keep doing that, hard to say. Sorry for Penny Hill, which I always loved that they would lose all the revenue that we represented just because your server was having a bad day. Then again, maybe you just don’t care.

I went during cut time... Craig seemed busy but did his best. He was a doll. Cobb salad had brown lettuce and the turkey was like jerky. My sister liked hers. I would go back and order different.

Kitchen is just going downhill! ordered a club that look like a regular sandwich, was not cut or layered right, not to mention! The lettuce and tomatoes look like they were sitting out all day and they didn't even add all the right ingredients (it was missing both cheeses, American and Swiss) Penny hill has always been one of my favorite spots to eat with great food, but I feel at the moment kitchen staff and management is just not where it should be!

Fries cold, bread stale, bad service and the custome service is the worst I've ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money. if your food is unsatisfactory, it's too bad

Nice place with lots of atmosphere. The portions were ample, I had a baked potato and took 1/2 home. The. Service was awesome. I would recommend to. give it a try, I can't wait to return.

I want this place to be great…. But third time was not the charm. Sad….Food sounds great on the menu, lots of choices, maybe too many.Ordered chicken finger dinner, garden salad, sweet potato fries. Chicken, cooked too long in old grease, it was dark and dry. Waffle fries cooked in same grease, they were dark, and though I like those extra crispy, fresher grease would have done wonders. As for the salad.. how do you mess that up? Send the core of the lettuce in the bowl, and boring ranch… ugh.Husbands hamburger, cold onion rings… same old grease… the old fashioned batter just soaked it right up.This place could be so good with a little effort. Clean up the menu. Make the good things better.. like our first time there the nachos were amazing…. Keep trying. We want you to succeed!!!!!

Was my first time there I had the Bacon cheese burger it was good. Im definitely going back to try the chicken fried steak after seeing another table order that I had wished I tried it first. Friendly service and great place to watch sports.
