Food was good but was not as temperature hot like I like my food.Men's restrooms needed a little cleaning. I let the hostess and the guy( manager I think)at the cach register. I hope they did something we were there around 6pm to 630pm 5/24/22I judge the restaurant on it's over all cleanliness of the restrooms.
Typical Asian buffet lunch. Everything was mediocre, which is to be expected. Better than average was the curry chicken. It was very tasty. The sesame chicken was okay, but didn't have sesame seeds. The "sweet n sour" dishes were typical. The pork was chewy with connective tissue. The chicken was okay, tho very dry. Again, typical. The sushi selection was impressive, but the rice used in it tastes off... Dishwater is the best way to describe it. ? but the fried rice was simple, but good. The Mongolian bar was problematic, as there was one set of tongs for all 3 meats. There were only 3 tongs for the whole set up, and it made me leary to try it. King Pao chicken was pretty good, tho a little bland.
Overpriced and underwhelming. While it offers a wide variety of dishes, everything I tried was either flavorless, stale or had an overpowering fish smell/taste. The sweet and sour pork and chicken were both clearly left over from lunch and refried - both extremely oily and virtually impossible to chew. Only bright spot was the service was attentive and friendly. There are much better options so this will be our last visit here.
Literally the worst service in norman. A nonsense 18% gratuity because 6 people sat at my table. No refills were done. They didn’t bring us food. What in the world did they do to deserve an 18% gratuity? The hostess was rude and disrespectful. The food was mediocre at best and its 13 a person? The day this restaurant closes is going to be a great day for Norman.
The food is wonderful! There's a excellent variety of sushi, very well made and quite tasty. All the food is skillfully prepared and delicious. Beware the home made mustard sauce! Take a small amount so you know what you're getting into. It's very potent.
I’m still not sure why they don’t list 0 stars as an option, but that is exactly what this restaurant gets. The hostess and waitress were really nice, but let’s face it, these reviews are only ever about the food. Every type of meat I tried was gross and tasted rotten. The buffet is all you can eat for $12.75, but even then, that’s still too much for how little I ate. The food was overly greasy and tasted like microwaveable food, and the fried dumplings were burnt. The irony in it all, is that I left feeling more hungry than when I arrived. Also, I ordered a Mongolian bowl, and the man cooking it cooked it with what looked like a stop sign pole cut in half. Would never come back here, and if I were anyone reading this I would never come here. Save those $12.75 for a good meal at literally any other restaurant.
I ordered for pickup instead of doing the buffet, even left a pretty hefty tip due to the large order i had placed. All to arrive home to discover that what was given to me was, and I'm not exaggerating, left overs from the night before. Old & sour food. Im in complete & udder disgust. I had a pleasant talk with the manager & my order was NOT reimbursed.
I don't leave many reviews, but the place was not kept very clean. We were over charged on our bill and did not notice until we were home. The atmosphere was uncomfortable. It was VERY VERY cold. Our food was literally becoming cold while eating it because the restaurant was so cold. I had some egg foo young and it had a huge chunk of shell in my bite that I had to spit out. The price for eating is over charged for what they offer. They automatically add a tip % charge for the size of the party. There was one waitress for the entire floor, we had to grab our own extra silverware, we had to grab our own condiments for our table, and the used plates sat on our table until the end when we were finishing up. Save your $$ go to other buffets in the metro that offer more and way better value.
I wish the Asian Buffet would open back up. This place really isn't that great. The food always tastes old and greasy. The sesame chicken is not very good and the sweet and sour chicken is always old and dry.
Good place to have lunch or dinner. Not that expensive and the food is pretty good.
