Only my second time eating at Nashbird and I’m already extremely disappointed. The first time I ate there, I enjoyed it. But this time, I ordered their food through doordash and when I opened my pie, I saw something that made me want to vomit. There was spots of mold growing all over my pie. I called and the costumer service was good. The person I spoke with was extremely nice. But I was told that I needed to go through doordash to get my money back. Still haven’t gotten my money back. Terrible.
Not as good as the OKC location.I loved going to the one in the city and was very excited when they decided to open a location in Norman. However I have been continuously disappointed eating here.Their service is seldom very good but it seems to be like staffing issues. Usually I will come in and there will be no one at the front to greet me so I have to wait awhile until they come and see me. A forgivable offense considering how understaffed most places are right now.The food is typically just mediocre. I usually get the chicken strips, they’ve been chewy a couple of times and the last time I ordered take out from here they didn’t even put the seasoning on our chicken? We both got hot dang and just received bare tenders.I’m kind of sick of being disappointed and will probably just go to the OKC location from now on.In conclusion: mediocre and disappointing for the price
Toby was an amazing help to we first-timers. He was kind and offered suggestions and his suggestions were delicious. I had the chirp level 1 chicken sandwich with onion rings. Yum. My son had the Nashvillian with Nash fries and he loved it. They even offer diet Dr. Pepper here, which is awesome. My son and I are visiting OU’s campus and this is nearby in cute downtown Norman. If we come back to Norman, we would surely return.
Was not impressed..12.00$Sandwich ...barely any slaw on it..1/5th of my sandwich was just breading...2 pickles...had fried pickles for appetizer. Not worth 6.00$.. the metal chairs were a pain in the butt..cleanliness of store was poor..lots of dirty tables...I first chose one..had streaks..looked luke cleaned with a dirty rag..I used restroom before leaving.. 30 rolls of toilet paper....but no hand towels for drying...(wth)Tables were leveled with napkins instead of proper screw levels....I spent 23.00$....very disappointed ?
This is a great shop some delicious chicken and tasty sides. It's really simple, you just walk in order at the bar and wait for your food to be delivered at the table you choose. You get your own drinks and take care of yourself, which kind of makes it easier and no expectations on the staff... Which, unfortunately is usually only one or two people in the store. The food is absolutely amazing and if you're not into hot fried chicken try the ranch! Definitely a place to try for a tasty lunch or dinner meeting. Usually not too crowded
Very good food. The tenders were much larger than anticipated so we left with leftovers. My daughter said that the gluten free tenders were amazing. The Nash fries were very good as well. A little pricey, but very good and we had lots of food.
Gluten-free options are offered here. Suggest ordering ahead of you have a number of folks to feed. Sauces are comparable to other wings/tenders stores around. Plenty of seating hit visible from the curb. I enjoyed my meal!
It would be a 3 star visit today I got a tender basket which the tenders are amazing excellent service but the side I wanted and sounded so good was a cucumber and onion salad (which is one of my favorites of all time) when I got the meal I it looked and smelled amazing. I took a bite of my cucumber salad and had to spit it instantly out I have never had something so salty and hideous in my life. I switch to a mac and cheese I got to eat a little bit of it but I still have the salt taste in my mouth.
Nashbird has very good chicken strips and the gluten free strips aren’t an added cost which is good if that’s your thing. I have returned multiple times, the only negative is the spice levels are widely variable. I typically get level 2, and sometimes it is not spicy at all and other times it is too spicy for me to eat without drinking a lot of water. Ranch and fries are also very good. Also, the portions are very good sized.
Online delivery orders are rarely correct and contacting the restaurant directly is impossible. They won’t be in business longer than a couple of years. Don’t waste your time or money here.
