This was a very nice little place, with a great appetizers, curry, and deserts...but the Pho let us down. When we went, the Pho broth was very dark and had very, very little flavor. This was disappointing, since Pho was in the name of the restaurant. :(On the other hand, my daughter and I ordered the Evil Jungle Curry (we try it at all new Thai places to compare against them)...and this one took our top spot. It was created perfectly, had great taste and texture. Also, the spice levels actually made a difference, meaning that you could actually tell a real difference in heat levels.Would recommend this place, but mostly for the curry and desserts!
This place could unfortunately be overlooked being that it is tucked into a strip mall. Do not pass this place up. Excellent food. Love the atmosphere and super friendly staff. If you eat there more than once, it's likely they will remember and greet you personally. The Pho is great, can't think of any other way to describe it. Food is is always hot, fresh and made to order. The only thing I'm not crazy about is they do not have fountain drinks. They serve Coke products (no coke zero) in bottles with a cup of ice.
Absolutely love their pho, and the K21 fried chicken is amazing!
Absolutely delicious! Quality from the utensils to the freshness of the food. Drunken noodles with chicken was amazing! Pho was tasty and the calamari was divine! Gem of a place. Highly recommend!!
This was the absolute worst Vietnamese soup I have ever tasted.I ordered three meals; one for my grandson, my daughter and myself. My daughter and I are Pho lovers and having been discharged from hospital earlier in the day (due to a reaction to anesthesia), I wanted a nice, steamy, warm bowl of Pho. I even ordered extra juice so I could sip on it for second day.I wish I could say good things, even one, about the food I received, but I cannot. There was nothing tasteful in either my daughter's or my soup. My grandson had a curry bowl and had no complaints. Our soup was sickening sweet, tasting heavily of sugar. The spice blend that makes Pho so mellow and smooth was nonexistent. The only thing either of us could taste was sugar! She ordered a vegan soup, mine was the beef. Oh, I can say one positive a+of thing. The carrots in my daughter's soup were really good, very thinly sliced and semi-crisp.We had also ordered the fresh spring roll and there was what tasted like rotten lettuce or mint, running throughout the roll which was another failure. How they have received an average score of 4.7 in their reviews is beyond me.
The staff was friendly. The beef noodle soup and chicken himapan were both very good. I also enjoyed the fried tofu appetizer. I loved how many options they had and hope to go back soon to try something new.
Food was great! Amazing staff! Will be back!
Delicious food, clean atmosphere, great service!
Absolutely amazing. I knew right at my first bite in the restaurant that I was definitely going back for more. After so many visits by now, when I am there, I still find myself planning for the next visit and what my order would be. This is such a treasure in Norman. Staff are very cautious and helpful. If you are not sure what to order, just ask Shaker (the nice young man) at there for recommendation. Also, they have HALAL meat options :)
Great food and large portions. Nice little place to grab a bite with friends or family.
