We’ve dined here many times and most all the Chelino’s across okc area. This spot is usually great however today not so much. We’ve always ordered the Quesabirria tacos and today those came soggy, not crispy and 3 strands of meat. Now we understand the prices and such going up but don’t hold back on the customer. The dipping broth was water downed and didn’t have the good chili taste. My wife and I make this meal so we understand how the process works and it’s long. We will try again but hopefully management sees this and makes improvements.
This was my first visit to this Chelino’s location and I had a fantastic experience. I arrived pretty close to closing and the staff did a great job at accommodating me. The food arrived hot and fresh and the customer service was top-notch. I highly recommend this Chelino’s location in Norman.
Was on a weekend getaway and looking for Mexican food for dinner. Decided on this place, and was not disappointed. Our waiter Greg, was so friendly and was very helpful in deciding what to order . Was a short wait before being seated. Husband ordered fajita sampler, which was amazing!
The setup is always on point and the way the serve a Tecate PERFECTION.. and dont get me started on the AMAZING TASTING FAJITAS.. love love love this place..
I was over charged on my visit on 2/26/20 by $40, the food, tax and tip was $31 but they charged $71. I visited the restaurant twice and called twice to be given the run around. The first call, the owner answered and said he would take care of it but I’ve wasted more time trying to make this right than i think is reasonable. I am writing this review after the making my final try and the person at the register telling me to wait 20-30 mins and he would look into it and walks away and had an indifferent attitude.
Food is very consistent here. Like the atmosphere. Definitely get the green sauce here if you like spicy!

Great food and atmosphere! Everyone was so kind and funny. Loved it!
I've had better food. The lettuce was frozen in the taco salad (seriously-bits of ice mixed in with it). The shredded beef looked raw (we were informed that it was steamed, and was supposed to look like that. It was off-putting.) The Fajitas were OK, but the tortillas came from a bag; they are definitely not made on premises.
It was delicious and not very expensive at all and service was fast and friendly.
