The location is nice. The food and basic service was actually quite good. Unfortunately, my bill came to $13.20. I gave a $20 and asked for change. I received a five dollar bill and a one dollar bill with the coin change. I wanted to give $3 but only had $1.70. I feel I was pressured to tip way more than acceptable. I will edit if this practice STOPS.
Stopped by for a quick lunch today. We came 50 minutes before close. Ever though it was close to the time they close, we were treated wonderfully and the food was awesome! Bug portions, great flavor, and good selection.
Decided to finally try this restaurant. First it is family owned and it is obvious, it’s quaintly decorated. You walk in and feel as though you’ve walked into your neighbors kitchen which is indicative of its food. They are welcoming and attentive . The food is as good as home made and probably better (cause someone else is cooking it). The dishes are plentiful and we definitely left full and satisfied. I’m looking forward to going back to try more items from the menu.
First time in, fell in love.This place is dangerous to love.Fantastic food.Fantastic service.High caloric southern food that tasted amazing. I had the corned beef hash, as I do just about everytime I see an opportunity to try this menu item. It was a delightful take on a classic dish. 100% recommended. Def will be back!
Excellent breakfast! First time trying this place. Ordered via DoorDash and everything was delicious. Large portions, one meal can feed two people! We will definitely make a trip in with the family for some pie and coffee ?
We finally tried Carol's Kitchen for breakfast with our neighbors this week and we're sure glad we did! We each had something different and we all gave our meals and service great reviews! Love this place and will return soon!!! I thought I would leave you a teaser photo to the Chicken-fried steak breakfast I ordered! Totally delish!
I had the Eggs Benedict and they were delicious. My husband had chicken-fry steak...equally delicious. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive.
Very solid choice for breakfast or brunch. Pretty good coffee, great big pancakes, good eggs, and a couple of really good servers. Simple, but good, and we will be back.
