In town for work and this was close to my hotel. I had the chopped brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad and let me tell ya…it tasted fantastic! Their sweet bbq and spicy bbq sauces really complement the flavors. Maybe next time I’ll try the desserts.

This was a fantastic overall experience for our family. The food was so flavorful and tender with large portions at a very reasonable price. The four of us tried the Prime Rib sandwich, Burnt ends dinner, BBQ chicken dinner, and the catfish dinner. We also grabbed two slices of pie to go. All for $65. Service was excellent as well! Highly recommend if in the area.

Drove 45 miles to eat the all you can eat ribs that they have on the menu only to find out they don't do the ribs anymore so this will be our last trip here. The food is pretty good but there's several other places in town where I can get ribs that are just as good. Take it off the menu if you're not going to honor it. Plus the prices listed in the pictures on the website are wrong so expect to pay more. The wait staff is really good but otherwise pretty dissatisfied.

Would I return? YesI was driving thru on a business run, and needed a meal for which I decided to Google BBQ in Muskogee.A few turned up, and I decided to go here.I ordered a meal to go: Pulled Pork Sandwich with "real fries".The serving size was quite adequate and satisfying. ALTHOUGH, my fries were cold, no, not warm, cold.My pork was Luke warm at best. Granted, I ordered the meal to go, but I grabbed the meal and left, and I ate as I went. No time for the meal to get cold.THAT is why I only afforded 3 stars. If one item was off/cold, 4 stars. The atmosphere was rustic and welcoming, and the business was bursting at the seams!Clearly, this place is good! When I return, and I shall; and the experience is better, the rating will be edited accordingly.I look forward to burnt ends sandwich; everyone inside said it was the cat's meow!

Better than most places. On par with good Kansas City bbq.Impressed by the actual hickory smoke flavor..I like to TASTE the smoke! Also sauce was good. Spicy, smoky sweet, tangy all at once. No pickle spear. Old tasting oil on toasted bread..use butter please or serve plain..not edible. Good fries. Fast service early evening, but meat was cold. Good chocolate cream pie, rare to find anywhere anymore! Tender crust too.Burnt ends were well trimmed. A bit more fat than I prefer in pulled pork.Could use bigger beef portions, but understand with the huge hike in beef prices! Still a bit pricy for small town. 15.99 for pulled pork and a few burnt ends. Beans need cooked in pit smoker longer to add more smoke flavor and thicken more than out of can. Add bits of meat and onions even better!Arthur Bryants, famous kansas city bbq, even put up signs in their locations asking people to contact their elected officials to demand more action on crazy record inflation, and order/try their other meats besides beef!! Thanks Brandon!?

Not impressed, not sure how this place is rated so high. I ordered my fries well done, well they must have thrown them in a grease bucket after cooking because they were soggy. The meat was just average smoked, nothing to write home about, it was very greasy also. There were several customers complaining about their tickets being wrong. I will give the place an ‘A’ on portion size, plenty of food. But we will not return the next time we visit Muskogee.

Service was great. Down home regular people. The club sandwich I had was the BEST I've ever had! And I'm pretty old.. I'd suggest they blanch their fries, they were a bit limp. The meats on the club sandwich were excellent. And it was HUGE.Right off I69. Highly recommended.

We were in muskogee visiting family and noticed there were a LOT of BBQ joints. We decided to try one and settled on Runts. We walked in around 7pm on a Thursday and it was jumping. I was slightly put off by the taxidermy-heavy decor but I guess a BBQ restaurant isn't really known for being shy about the fact they specialize in meat.We were seated right away and promptly seen by our waitress but it still took a solid 25 minutes to get our food after ordering.I ordered the sloppy piglet with fries and my husband ordered a 3 meat combo with black eyed peas and spinach potato salad. (There aren't many veggie options for sides, I think green beans was the only healthy-ish option)Holy smokey pork butt was the food delicious!!!! The sloppy piglet was good but the bbq-ranch sauce was superbly yummy; I put it on my sandwich and my fries! But my husband's dinner was exquisitely divine! The ribs were as advertised: fall-off-the-bone tender and so tasty they didn't need any sauce. The pulled pork and brisket were the same way. My favorite thing of the entire meal however was the spinach potato salad. It was smokey and creamy and heavenly! I never thought I would say that about potato salad but here I am, raving!Easily the best BBQ we've ever had.

Service was excellent and food was hit and delicious. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they weren't really handicapped/wheelchair accessible. It was hard getting in & very difficult to get to the restroom. Everything else was fantastic. Probably won't go back, though, unless they improve these things. Which sucks cause it was delicious ?

Wow is all I can say... I had the 12 Shrimp dinner & my Dad had the Ribeye steak dinner.First off the inside of Runts is so cool. I regret that I did not take a few pictures but it made for some interesting conversation. The floor on the way to the restroom was camouflaged I just loved it.The food was very good. The shrimp was well breaded & mouth watering. My dads steak was huge, it took up the entire plate. He couldn't finish it! He gave it a good try. He also complained the entire way home, he ate too much...We definitely have to go back.Good. Good. Good. Good. Good food.
