Great food and great service. I know the owner well. He makes everything top notch at his place. Have been eating there for years. It is one of my best choices for a good place to eat.
I’m very picky about the bbq I eat and this place is always clean, has good atmosphere and service and the food is decent too. Of the meats I like the turkey best. The ribs are good but the brisket I’ve had here is not great (ordered it 4 different times). The beans and potato salad are good and the sauce is decent. We’ve been here 15-20 times and never regret the decision.
The baked beans were loaded with flavor and smoked meat just how I love it. The staff are so friendly and kind. The meat was great. The potato salad quite yummy too.
Ordered pork chops that come with baked potato and salad. "Salad" is mostly just lettuce--has a bit of cheese and a bit of green onion and TWO tiny tomatoes. The pork chops were overcooked so they were really dry. Potato was nice and big so I figured if I got some butter for the potato and the meat it would improve things. But they only have margarine--and it must be the cheapest margarine they can get because it was AWFUL tasting. I took my food to go so I could use the real butter I have at home to try and salvage my meal. The waitress was friendly, so I tipped her 20%, even though I was unhappy as I left. I was asked at the register if everything was okay, and I told the girl that my meal was dry. Did she apologize? Oh no--she LAUGHED like I was kidding. So I told her--I am not kidding. She didn't say another word. I didn't ask anyone for a discount--I paid full price for this underwhelming meal. I simply will never return.
Prices are too high. 6.99 for a serving of banana pudding? The charbroiled chicken dinner was very good. Good food, just not worth the price. Service was blah. Mediocre at best.
This is the absolute best BBQ around the area. Their hot links have lots of flavor and not to hot. Turkey is to die for, ribs are good enough if given as a shake I'd have swam in it.
We came in yesterday for lunch and absolutely enjoyed it!! Very beautiful clean restaurant (inside and parking lot) as well friendly staff! Will definitely recommend it to others!
We visited twice, once for a sophisticated evening, then lunch for chopped Brisket, delicious both good times kept rolling, too. I had a Kansas City Strip, MR & it was superb. After that, we knew what was going on, as far as, where to get a barbecue chopped Brisket sandwich! I added jalapeños on mine & Tommy’s Girl ordered a half order of fries, which was enough- Keep partying especially if UR Irish. Those taillights were High Country’s
Great food and excellent service. The restaurant was also extremely clean and just all around nice. We will definitely be back!
Mahylon’s has great food. Best ribs and pull-pork! The beans are almost a meal by themselves. They treat everyone like they are family. A must-try place. We have dined in, carried out, and ordered for a big get-together. Never disappointed.
