We just left your restaurant for the last time. My wife and I have been loyal WH customers since the 70s. I'm sure that you're going to blame covid for the poor quality of service and food, but I know after years in the restaurant industry, it falls back on bad management. It isn't just your store, but also the Norman store as well. Sorry to see this happen. Once a favorite. Bye!
We did a call in order and they forgot all 3 waffle on all 3 orders? How this is Waffle House. Then when I Go back to get them they are rude like I’m a burden to them cooking their own food. Like you messed up my order? Also the part time girl is rude as hell. And the manager. How you gotta make a waffle 4 times and still not get it right? At a Waffle House. SMH
Close to one of the worst waffle house experience ever. Sat at the bar because everything else was dirty. Maybe they were slammed at 12:30 am. Anyways, waited about 5 mins for the waitress to say hi and ask what we wanted to drink. She got me my coffee and cream, but no silverware. She came back about 5 mins later to take our order. But when we started to order, then she told us to wait. Apparently she didn’t have her order book or a writing utensil. Finally we were able to place our order. When she called it out to the cook, I had to correct her or I would’ve received over easy eggs. The cook wasn’t much better. He was obviously new. Had he not overcooked my hashbrowns and eggs because he was busy texting, I probably wouldn’t have worried about his ineptitude. So the food was served by the cook. We still didn’t have any silverware. The other waitress had to get us some. Our waitress decided she had to have a smoke break. My coffee was empty and she went on a smoke break. ZERO customer service skills. Something else the other waitress had to do for her. Refill my coffee. Then she asked if there was anything else we needed. We asked for some jelly and apple butter.Once we were finished, I asked our waitress for the check. She turned to the other one and told her her table was ready. ? Apparently, she didn’t consider us as her table even though she took our order.Waffle House, your new cook and new waitress on 3rd shift need replaced. They don’t want to work.
Awesome service! Drove here, sat down at counter and instantly was asked if for dine in or carry out. Then asked if I knew what I wanted or needed time. She took my order quickly and before I knew it she had my food there and ready to go! Food was great! Sorry didn't post pics but we where starving! Lol I live right down the street from the one on independence but prefer to drive to this one for better service! My waitress Kristy I think her name was was great. Thank you!
Had a horrible experience. Firstly, I will start with the fact that the waiter which will remain nameless. She had a very bad attitude, not very friendly, and the care was a 0 you could def tell she didn't want to be at work. We still kept up with our good attitudes to give her the benefit of hey maybe she had a hard day. But it's no excuse to treat people badly and not be friendly when we are clearly trying to be nice to you. Couldn't get hot tea or hot chocolate because they don't "serve it anymore" not even a "hot water" because it's against their rules apparently. I did without a drink because I was cold and wanted something warm. She comes back with our food after we waited 30 minutes she brings us the wrong food, some to go orders food then we tell her it's not ours and she just takes it back and says oh sorry. Second my son and I got the Bacon Angus cheeseburger meal my son wanted extra bacon never received it, my lettuce was slimy and dark green, so I didn't eat it I threw it off of my burger. So, we said Well whatever there was literally 2 other people in here eating and tons of staff. A man who came in after us ordered his food ate and left before we received ours, but we chalk it up because the lady had an attitude. Strike 3 my husband asked the lady if the cheesesteak bowl had American or cheddar cheese. She replied with Cheddar. needless to say, it was American, and he hates American cheese not to mention his meat was burnt. All of our hashbrowns were cooked to almost a crisp but it was 10pm and we had been at work since 9am this morning with nothing to eat all day. Our total for this meal was $32 we tipped her $8 even with her attitude but I don't pay for service like this and for $40 we could have gone somewhere else and that's exactly what I will do next time.
Won’t be returning. Rude staff, burnt food & slimy lettuce.
The late night staff here are always more than fun to be around, and the food is usually on point. I’ve been here several times, would not recommend it as a daytime food choice as the staff don’t seem to really care about their jobs. But at night time you can count on it.
My wife and I stopped at this Waffle House when traveling home from Texas. We were seated and greeted by our waitress (Meaghan) promptly and served coffee and water. She was pleasant and thoughtful , even though she was training someone. I overheard her during our time there and she was very thorough.. Our cups were reflecting seveall times. Food came relatively quickly. Our meal was nothing special but the Service was outstanding(especially when every other place uses covid as an excuse)
Was not greeted when we arrived. Waited 5 minutes for a server. Food was beyond sub par ( burnt toast said they ran out of gravy never asked or offered to refill drinks) worst service I’ve ever had at this location. Cook came by and gave me a thumbs uplike good food! And they want $15 an hour
Went here on Christmas Day cause they were the only place open. Got a big ol breakfeast at 11pm and when I got my bacon the lady asked ne if it was ok if it was crispy. I didn’t mind cause bacon is bacon but, thank you bacon lady in the red sweater :)
