This was my first time going and it was nice. I enjoyed the environment and the food was decent. I went during lunch period but it wasn't too many people dining in so I was able to have all attention for any of my needs. Waitress was polite and gave me some suggestions. I definitely didn't have any negatives when I went. One of my recommendations to my close peoples.
This is a good chain Italian Restaurant. We ordered a calamari appetizer, two pasta entrees, and the dolce de leche bread pudding dessert. The calamari was good, the entrées we’re good portion sizes, but the flavor needed salt and pepper to enhance the flavor. The bread pudding dessert had good flavor. My server was new, but she was very friendly and attentive. Overall, this was a good experience.
Went for Valentine’s day, the food and drinks were amazing. I ordered the lasagna and it was delicious! We were sat almost immediately and the service was great! Received a coupon for a free entrée just for visiting on Valentine’s day! Will be back soon :)
Upon arrival we told the host that we had a party of 6. We are not small people. We have 2 that over 6ft 2 and good size gentlemen. The others are not small people either. We were told 20 minutes. That 20 minutes had went by and my husband went to check how much longer. We were told about another 20 minutes or longer. So, we left. Why couldn't we have been told that from the beginning. We would have just found another place to eat. Called the restaurant once we left to speak with management. Spoke with female manager and she never said that she was sorry we were told an inaccurate time. All she could do was tell me that they had a huge party that was before us to be seated. Then why weren't we told that. My point exactly. She also tried to tell me that would have fit in their 6 persons booth. I told her that I didn't want to be squished to eat. Well at that point she started talking over me and repeating herself. At that point I advised her that she has lost a costumer that comes there often and I will tell everyone I know about the quality of the management. Word of mouth will kill a business or boost one. I loved the food at this restaurant but I will not be treated like I am ignorant person or a child. This was February 4th around 6pm.
I didn't mind the atmosphere of the restaurant during our visit, and it was not busy while we were there for lunch. I enjoyed my meal, it was the rigatoni rustica with GF pasta. They provided a good sized portion in a large bowl and it was very good. The crab cakes looked good, though I was unable to try them for myself.
My wife and I moved to Moore this year and have become regular diners at this Oliveto location. The quality of the food and the service we have received has never disappointed us. In particular we love to order the blackened salmon and always find it delicious. It's served on angel hair pasta and with capers. We never have to wait excessively long to be waited on after being seated and our drinks are served right away. The deserts are delicious as well. It is frustrating to dine out and be disappointed with the food or service considering the costs associated with dining out in today's environment. I have never felt that way after eating at this Oliveto though I've eaten there many times. I highly recommend.
Oliveto is one of our go to Italian places! The rosemary chicken with jalapeno risotto is to die for and all their sauces and pastas are delicious! We also loved the little milk shots that come with the deep dish cookie dessert! Definitely a must try. The only thing we don't like is the bread served with the meals, it's just kind of blah.
First time to go and man what a great place. Calamari was wonderful (ask for shrimp cargo, it's not on menu ) be ready to eat because there is nothing skimpy that I saw on any of the meals me and my family had!! Enjoy?
Food are so good and the service is wonderful. it’s my place to go all the time
Wonderful food and service all the way around. Great place to eat!
