Clean clean clean clean. Great job Guys. Food is good. I love a clean place. I can't say enough. I don't have to know anything else if you get a lady that is ready to swoop in and keep it that way. Great food and great service. Definitely worth returning. They need a bigger spot on google map to get people in but I am sure they are not hurting for customers. Especially repeating ones.
Johnnie's is always a good spot for a burger. Service is good, food is good but recently it's been harder to go here versus other places. I know inflation is coming for us all but their prices continue to climb above the rest and it's pretty hard for my family of 4 to get out of Johnnie's for less that 50 bucks which is a lot for a casual burger place for me. Last nit pick is they rarely have fountain drinks stocked. I know supply chain and all that but it's still rather annoying to buy a drink only to realize the only options are diet ginger ale. Look at the coke machine before you get a drink.
I'd give this a five star but the burger is smaller now but with same pricing. But I love a Johnnie's burger...extra cheese please!
Realistically, this place is more of a cult than a restaurant. The only reason I buy food here is because I can get a gluten free veggie burger that suits the needs of one of my kids. Prices are above average, food quality is good but not exceptional. Fries are disappointing. We typically get burgers to go and will get fries from another store.
Always great from the classic Theta burger to the perfect onion rings and delicious pies
After hearing so much about this place being an Oklahoma have to try, my husband and I tried it for lunch and were so disappointed! My husband order the Johnnie's burger and it was so loaded with the special sauce that just trying to get it out of the package got sauce all over him, the table, and everything else! It was covered in sauce beyond anything I have ever seen! It was gross! So he took it back to the window to have them fix it! That was after having to wait for way too long for two hamburgers. He got the french fries as a side which were okay, I got the cheeseburger and homemade chips as a side and my burger was okay at best and the chips had a funny taste. It was like it was old oil taste, I am not sure. So we were not happy with the food and that was after paying more than $28 for just two hamburgers, sides and small drinks!!! So the prices are way too high for the quality and quantity of what you get. You can get a much better quality burger other places with actual table side service. Save yourself the headache and mess and go somewhere else! We won't be back.
12 employees, zero trash cans in the lobby, half the tables filled with trash...and only 1 bus person?20 minutes to get 3 burgers and a salad? Had to track someone down for drink lids and a salad fork. That is not a $12 salad.Tried a slice of Chocolate creme pie...what happened to the Chocolate part? A Chocolate creme pie should be 2/3 filling and 1/3 whipped cream, not the other way around! Not going back. Ever.
I'm obsessed with Johnnie's! So good, the only restaurant I'm aware of where you can get a burger that tastes like a homemade one: great beef patty, sesame seed bun, tons of shredded cheese, and fresh veggies! I also love their fries, they're more naturally cut and not weirdly perfect (and fake) like McDonald's. They also have creative and fun sandwiches that you can't get anywhere else! They serve an orange slice in their tea, which I love. The dining area is so nice and it's especially beautiful at Christmas time. I love this restaurant and am a lifelong customer!
They have good baked potatoes and chili, but their onion rings have no spices or anything on them. Just plain. Don't like them. Very bland and I love onion rings. Hamburger was okay. But it was pretty expensive to eat there. Also people preparing food wore no gloves.
I decided to try Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler, because I’ve seen several locations around Oklahoma City. I placed my order via drive-through, the person receiving my order made me repeat the order several times, the communication was not very good. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon, onion rings and a fountain drink. The burger was very flavorful and quite large. I was not very impressed with the onion rings, they were fresh and large but lacked flavor. In my opinion, the meal was quite expensive for a fast food burger. I may try it again, because I did enjoy the burger but I would not get the onion rings, I would probably try the fries instead. I’m recommend if you order the burger, be very specific of what you order and be advised there’s a charge for a lot of the toppings.
