Pretty upsetting compared to other places I’ve been to.
Decades ago it was a treat to get donuts from here.Having moved out of state for a lot of that time, I was excited about the idea of enjoying these.I mixed the order in 2 boxes, and was horrified. The long johns I wanted cream filled, tasted like lemon filling. The apple spice I spit out the only bite I took. Both apple fritters tasted odd and I found no piece of apple in either one. The glazed donuts tasted so bad I couldn't finish one of them. Out of 2 dzn donuts, I couldn't eat one completely. Worst flavor in my life!It's bad when Walmarts glazed donuts put yours to shame!I'll never return to daylight after this horrible experience!!
Our favorite donut place. They are always fresh daily.

Go down the road a little bit and you can find several places that are better

It was maybe a bad morning, got 3 kolaches and 3 chocolate donuts, got refund, inedible.
My sausage roll was hard and the bread around it tasted like paper. My donut tasted like it was a week old. I really love daylight every other daylight donuts I went to was fresh so I had much high expectations for this one and will not be going back.
