Absolutely 5 stars! It was the first time I had tried it and it was delicious. I ordered The Grizz and it was so much food. Will try this again as I travel. The restaurant was very clean, the service was friendly and attentive. They have a few gifts that you can purchase and a meeting room or a room for a large group. Really like the bears.outside and the bathrooms are clean.
First time to eat at a Black Bear Diner. Friendly people, good atmosphere and the food was excellent. I tried the California Benedict(Eggs Benedict with bacon, avocado, tomato and spinach). It was perfectly prepared and very filling.
Good basic diner, nothing special, very good service and dang good iced tea.My preformed bring CFS breakfast was ok, and huge massive biscuit was ok too.

For my first time going there, it was absolutely delicious! The price wasn't bad either. We did have to wait a bit to get in because they were busy, but not long at all! Everything was good and the service was excellent for the amount of business they were producing. I had the pot roast and my child had a cheese pizza, and she is usually really picky, but she said it was the best pizza she has ever had. Thank you so much for the pleasant experience.
Based on favorable recommendations from family, we decided to try this place out for ourselves. We were not disappointed. I ordered the Bigfoot country fried steak & eggs and got what you see in the photo. The menu said that this was for "the hungriest bears" and they weren't lying. Everything was delicious and the portions were fantastic for the money. The biscuits were flaky, buttery, and larger than my fist! Service was also exceptional. We were seated immediately and our food was delivered quickly.This location is right behind an IHOP. If you find yourself trying to decide between the two, you'd be doing yourself a disservice to not choose the Black Bear Diner.
the food was great but the coffee was burnt and the lady at check out was on her phone so it took forever was even recommending people to not buy the pies

Nice clean restaurant. Food was delicious! Service was good. Got meatloaf with mashed potato’s and green beans. Came with a tomato soup and was a good compliment to the meatloaf. Will be back to try breakfast.
Great food and atmosphere. I have dietary restrictions and the waitress was very accommodating and helpful.
