We’ve been here in the past and it was amazing however this time it was not. The fries and hush puppies tasted like they were fried in old oil. This fish was good though. My daughter said her chicken didn’t taste like it normally did. Maybe we just went there on a bad day and they didn’t clean their grease yet. This review is from my personal opinion
I got the Catfish basket with fries and hushpuppies. I got my food to go and ate it within probably 15 mins. It was all kind of soft and didn't have the normal fried crunch to it. The tartar sauce was a little lack luster in flavor as well. The fries were seasoned well and the hush puppies had a good flavor just lacking texture. The catfish fillets were really finely cut which is okay but without the batter being crispy or very flavorful it just kind of came across as mushy. All in all it wasn't really bad just not great.

Best fried catfish ever!!! I've eaten a lot of catfish in different regions and this is, by far, the best!!! Good service and the food is served fresh and hot. Five stars!!!!
Food was very good but portions were small. I had chicken tenders with shrimp and crawfish tails. The tenders (4) were very thin like they split them before frying and only 3 shrimp. Sam's Southern eatery is a better option for the money
Baja style tacos and blackened gator. Highly recommend!!! Great service.
Great... Been wanting to try this place for awhile. My wife and I went Friday. Prices are great, portions perfect, atmosphere perfect. Nothing fancy, food was awesome. Eat the gumbo!!!! Yum.
Im so disappointed on my seafood boil.. It was extremely dry and had no flavor.. Im so disappointed 35 dollars wasted

Shrimp was delicious, catfish was good. Red beans and rice tasted good
