Very rude woman running the drive threw. Asked for her manager. She said she was the manager. I asked her name and the receipt has a totally different female name on it then what she gave me. After telling her there was no reason for her to be rude and that I would be trying to contact her GM she got really nice and respectful. When you go to a fish/seafood place you expect shrimp sauce. They where out. My Husband tells her they should really be telling people in the drive threw that they are out at least give people a choice if they want shrimp with no sauce. Her response was “I can’t read minds, if you don’t want your food then just say so “ (very rudely) then before while in the drive threw my husband wanted hush puppies as his side she said to him “um you are already getting hush puppies with your meal, you need to pick another side” so he picked green beans…. We didn’t get those though they forgot them. They forgot our drinks as well. My husband had to go back in cause she shut the window after handing us the food and we still didn’t get the green beans.Anyway there’s just no reason to be rude especially when the customer is being super nice.
I love this place, the split menu makes it a great choice for the family because it's a great choice for the whole family; for instance: if the adults want fish and the kids aren't about it- they can get chicken/burger/hot dog etc from the A&W side of the menu. Or you can have a root beer float with your Long John Silver's fish- can't beat it. I have ONE complaint, though, and that is their drive-thru takes about a century to make it through. Even if there is only one car ahead of you, anticipate a wait of at least 15 minutes. On the contrary, this does usually mean that the food is made fresh! Whatever the case, if you're ordering in the drive-thru, be sure that you aren't in a hurry! ;)Dining-in is where it's at!!! You get a super awesome (paper) pirate hat, there is a juke box you can choose songs on (so long as you've got some change), and if they "did well," you "ring the bell" on your way out-- and if a lively crew is working they will all cheer upon getting a bell-ring! ;)
I found this place as I got lost coming back from camping and couldnt get a signal on my gps and I have to say im glad I did because this was the best experience I've had at a long john silvers/a&w the food was crazy hot! We ordered 2 orders of chili cheese fries 2 cheese curds, 6 chicken planks and 2 rootbeers and the price was great (I think it ended up being $26) and it tasted really good and the lady at the drive thru was super nice 10/10 only gripe is we didnt get silverware but eh it was so good we didn't really care lol
At the fish tacos they were excellent also gotten round of hush puppies they were crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside good food reasonably priced and the people are nice all you could want fast food but then taste it
I have been through here a few times recently and the service has been amazing each time. Everyone in the store was nice and then my drive thru visit was also pleasant. I had quit going to Long John's because I had such poor experiences at other locations, but this one has changed that. The food was all cooked better and fresher than the last times I remember having Long John's.
Asked for chicken, got fish. Which I don't like but it wouldn't have been edible if I did like it. It was really soggy and fell apart as soon as I tried to pick it up :( one of my fav fast food places but first time at this location
I went to this place ....I ordered 4 batter shrimps.....3 shrimps in each order .....they only gave me 9 . Then the female at register said I was incorrect....wonder where she went to school.....last time I checked 4×3= 12....not 9. So I payed for shrimp I never received. I won't be going back....you lost a customer.......they don't deserve a star!!!!!!!!
They were really nice. The wait was really long, so they gave me my drink for free. The float was really good!
Ordered 5 different fish and chicken meals. All were correct. Good LJS.
Shiver me timbers matey. LJS always has good cole slaw too. Always get a side order of clams, or you'll be a scallywag swabbing the decks or walking the plank,,,,,Aaarrrrrrr!
