I am a big fan of this chain and have been patronizing them for years in both Oklahoma City and San Antonio, so I am disappointed with having to post this review.Attempting to redeem a national promotion at this location, I was told flatly and unapologetically that this this location would NOT participate. This is, of course, each independent owner's right and I would have respected it if the denial was delivered with even a sliver of humanity.Conversely, Gwendolyn M Campbell of Store 1461 chose to reference her multiple degrees in Marketing and how her bottom line was negatively impacted by participating in her brand's national promotion. She exhibited a visible disgust when alerting me to her participation in the "birthday" promotion and had little interest in listening to constructive criticism offered by a long-time customer. Her employees watched without words as she boastfully asked me if I was trying to run her business. Even during what I would consider prime lunch hours, there were no patrons in the restaurant. It is my hope that she is more receptive to her employees, patrons, and community when next the opportunity presents.Lastly, I crossed the street to a locally-owned deli called simply "Super Subs" and had an Italian Philly grinder that would make a fireman from eastern PA miss home. For that, I respectfully thank Ms Campbell.
If you do door dash, uber eats, grub hub Etc I recommend you do not take orders for this location she will not let you pick up your order even though the customers already paid for it..She says you need a mask (not mandatory) when customers do not wear a mask. Also I would like to add the employees are not even wearing them either ! She just picks and chooses. She is very rude. Don't accept orders from this store .To the owner of this store ,If i could give you a little tip .. Do not except delivery orders if you will not let us pick them up..
This place is horrible at customer service especially to delivery drivers. First time I go they rudely tell me I can’t park up front I said ok moved vehicle. Second time they won’t wear mask but tell use they require the driver to wear them even though they are making the food… there are several other issues I have had her and seen how they treated other customers.
Came in to pick up an order and was denied the food because I had no mask… the employees didn’t even have masks. Very unprofessional. I’m not sure what that lady’s name is but she should be ashamed
I have never been to a firehouse sub before today. I was given a gift card by my employer. The app and online order system was down. I called to confirm. The lady that answered the phone, when I asked if there system were down, said, "well I turned the tablet on". So I went to this location to order my food. The restaurant was busy but most had already received there food. There were three others waiting ahead if me. They are 3 workers. 40 minutes later, I got my food. Whomever runs this location might want to have a few more people working to help get orders out faster. On to the food. The subs were okay. On one sub, I asked for no onions, the receipt shows no onions, but there were onions. The other sub that was order was to be a cold sub and it was not. The oil and vinegar where on the side which I didn't ask for.The restaurant was clean. For my first time, not the best impression. Not sure if I'll give firehouse subs another try.
I went to pick up an Uber eats order and was told they won’t give me the food since it’s a 3rd party unless I have a mask on. Nobody behind the counter making the sandwich has a mask on and some of them weren’t even wearing gloves so that doesn’t make any sense. The person is going to eat the sandwich that the maskless employee is touching and breathing all over, I’m going to be touching the bag that the wrapped sandwich is in not to mention the fact that as soon as I leave the store I would’ve taken the mask off so the policy makes no sense and no one could answer my question as to why no one is wearing a mask if they’re making the food. They all just stared at me.
The subs are really good, but seriously, 30 min for 2 sandwiches as a dine-in customer seems pretty unreasonable. I've assembled plenty of sandwiches, so I don't understand what could warrant such a long wait other than baking the bread maybe?
Food was great and people were nice, but very very understaffed and it took them over 30 minutes to make my sandwich (there were others in front of me). I know it's not the employees fault, but it was pretty much my entire lunch break waiting for my food to be made. If you're craving firehouse order it online ahead of time
awesome food as always. customer service on the other hand is a joke. this location and moore have the same owner. its clear she could careless about her customers. countless reviews on rude and obnoxious staff. if you eat at either of these locations prepare for rude staff and poor customer support.
If you order for delivery you may not get your order in a timely manner. First they don’t start the order until the dasher arrives. Then if you are not wearing a mask they refuse the order. Even though all of the customers are not wearing masks.
