Love this place but this is ridiculous. Always out of chicken. And its only 9 pm. This is crazy. Like. O one wants to come here if you necwr have anything.
The best churches chicken hands down. I live in the next city over and drive clear across the city only because of Ralph! Ralph makes sure that the food is fresh and the customer service is second to non. Even when they are busy he goes the extra mile to make sure you're taken care of. I appreciate it Ralph thanks for good food and dinning experience.
Staff is rude. Service is slow. The last 5 times I've gone, they've been out of most of their chicken and sides. The last 3 orders I've been able to place there they've messed up on and once the chicken was too hard and dried to eat. I like church's but this location (NE 23rd and Douglas, MWC) is one to stay far, far away from.
Always great and awesome service! Mr. Houston you’re doing a great job and it’s nice to always hear you talking good to your staff. Y’all are all doing a great job!
Staff was so kind. They had a busy night and still made a lot of orders up close to closing. Even helped a worker with his college class!
Had to wait at least 5 minutes to order our food. After we had ordered and paid they had us pull around the front to wait for our food. This wait ended up being 20 minutes.
They are always out of chicken fried steak to start off with. The staff is very slow and a little rude. To top it off the whole building is dirty. It looks like they do the bare minimum to keep the health department from shutting them down. From floor to ceiling it's covered in dirt, grease, old food on the walls. The ceiling tile is all discolored and covered with cobwebs. It would not surprise me if a new variant of the covid virus was discovered here. They should shut down for a couple days and give the staff cleaning supplies and have them scrub everything twice.
My order was shorted 2 sides and chicken fried steak is a joke. Cardboard in a box! Without the gravy no less.
Staff seemed confused with all the orders they had. No organization at all. Food I ordered was ok but the fries were subpar at best. The lady who took my order was a bit rude to me when I asked about my cold fries. She didn’t even replace them. Won’t be coming back here. I hadn’t been to church’s in 30 plus years and wanted to give them a chance. Epic fail. Not surprised that the dining room was empty….
If you would like to wait 40 mins for a chicken strip meal then this is the place for you. It's a guaranteed 30 min wait no matter what you order. And don't forget the having to go back cause they never give you the right order.
