This place is good if your looking for lunch. I was disappointed they close at 5pm because that’s typically when dinner starts. I had the fried catfish, potato salad and black eyed peas. The catfish batter was tasty but the catfish meat didn’t have the strong catfish taste as fresh fish. Our food took awhile to be served but the waitress was always visible and friendly. I definitely recommend this place for Sunday lunch.
My husband and I come here often and I must say the service is always good and the food is very tasteful. We have eaten the rib tips, catfish, porkchops (fried & smothered) both are amazing, chicken wings and the gumbo. If you like more or less seasoning just request to your taste since it's cooked at the time you place your order. The portion is great for the price except for the fish sandwich lol they could add an extra piece.

They have amazing service. The people are incredibly friendly and it has good prices. They have amazing ribs and the best okra I have ever had. All their food really feels like great home cooking. You always feel like you are being greeted by family when you go there.
Take your time ordering. The food is excellent and worth the trip, but take your time ordering. The wait staff is hyper helpful and in motion. They reminded me why bolos were created.I needed some pulled (chopped) pork and BBQ sauce (very nice original sauce) to make a Brunswick stew. WOW! It came out good.

Great food but DO NOT ORDER FROM GRUBHUB .....I just waited an hour and 20 mins just for them to me about a menu problem last min before closing. In which now I cannot have fixed... DO NOT ORDER FROM GRUBHUB......I'm pretty sure my food is about to be cold too... Very disappointed
This place was amazing! To start it off with a simple drink…. Their koolaid, phenomenal. And when they said “the red one” instead of the flavor, you already knew it was bouta be good lol! Their fried catfish was to die for, they had the collard greens you’d expect at thanksgiving dinner. Very simple place, yet phenomenal food. Loved the whole experience
