I stayed a day in Lawton for a delivery and pick up next day, came here while getting loaded gave it a try; I ordered beef fajitas during lunch was ok. I think this is a popular place around here but I didn’t see anything special about it; food was ok not to my expectations I think locals come to hangout but if you’re looking for a Mexican place this is not your typical restaurant cantina grill.
Took forever to get drinks, they came out after we were done eating. Food was mediocre. Ordered a beef burrito and only received 2 cubes of beef in the entire burrito. The queso had a weird watery layer on top that wouldn't mix in. And it took us stopping the Waiter from another table to get a refill on chips and salsa. Very disappointing experience.
By far the worst experience I have had at any public establishment. When I arrived I went to go pick up my to go order which was already paid for and was told it wasn't ready yet, I went to the restroom and when I came back I was told that my order was taken out to my car and it when I asked my girlfriend she had said nothing was brought out. When I went back in and asked if there could be a mistake I was told "no we already gave it to your girlfriend". When I said that we didn't have any food could it be sat down outside somewhere possibly she smuggly crossed her arms and said I could look in the trash. I couldn't believe she just suggested I look in the trash like an animal. I went back to the car to tell my girlfriend they didn't have our food, she went in to talk to the manager, the manager realized that they had made a mistake she then started question her to go specialist, like this was his fault mistakes happen, it was her behavior that was upsetting. Insinuating that I was lying and telling me to look in trash for my food made me feel so little and I had done nothing wrong, our food was already paid for even. I have never been so insulted in my life. She sat inside and watched me look for a to-go order outside while she had the order the whole time. She humiliated me for no reason at all. By the time she released our food to my girlfriend it was cold.
Absolutely horrible service, my boyfriend went in to pick up a to-go order and they told us they ran the order out to the car and that they didn't have it. So I went inside because noone gave us order apparently there was some kind of mix up. Its fine mistakes happen but when my boyfriend said we couldn't find it, it was suggested that he should dig through the dumpster... "maybe it blew away" is what the manager told my boyfriend.It took us 30 minutes to get it after arriving there because they didn't believe my boyfiend when he said we didn't have our food. If you have a craving for Tex Mex just go to taco bell it may not be the best but at least the manager/owner won't berate you when they are in the wrong. Its one thing to make a mistake on an order its another to treat your guest as a second rate citizen. I have never been in an establishment where the management was so rude and dismissive.
Food with flavor is always a good thing but not always offered. Salas had good flavoring on the 6 meals we ate. Service was fast & friendly.
Do not go there! My daughter works there and tested positive for Covid and they’re making her work. I already called them but they don’t answer the phones. I am letting city and public officials know. Since they refuse to talk to me and told her to come to work or lose her job.
We had the loaded type fried as appetizer and it was amazing!! The meat, beef, was very good and full of flavor. The enchiladas were not that great, not much filling. Husbands' big burrito was very good and had plenty of meat inside.
