In town from DFW, three of us had supper. Everything was good...the chicken fried steak with the jalapeno gravy was awesome. Service was great. I had a "Boozie Chick" lol
We were looking for anything open and just did a quick internet search and found this restaurant. Wait staff was amazing, food was excellent, service speed was reasonable. We felt like our time and experience was important and our waitress took time to give recommendations and make sure we had everything we needed. This will be our new "must visit" when in the area. We had the brisket pimento cheese and the jalepeno patty melt. We started with the fried pickles. I want to try everything on the menu because they have unique combinations and the brisket is so tender and packed with flavor.
Don't let the Bar restaurant style fool you! This place has some really delicious food! I've ate here a couple times and the food has always been very good. I really enjoy the French Dip and any of their pork is very well cooked.My wife ordered the the Porker and she absolutely loved it, said it was juicy and full of flavor. I would recommend this location to anyone in the area. Awesome place, wonderful food and great service ?
Good food, great staff, management that cares about your experience. One of my few goto places in Lawton. Good food and fantastic service, from the hostess staff at entry to the multiple wait staff that checked on me while passing by my barside hi-top table. My waitress Hannah was awesome, thank you Hannah! Kudos to Amanda the manager on duty as well for stopping to check on my visit as well as other tables around me. Thank you all!
This is a notch above your typical bar fare. I had the B.L.A.T. (Bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato). Delicious! Hubby had the Mother Porker and he raved about it. We highly recommend.
Walking in, it appeared just as your typical bar/restaurant. I was quickly greeted and told to sit wherever I liked. After I sat, another group sat down and they immediately were helped. They got their drinks and the waitress walked away which made me worry that I was going to be waiting for a long time just to be served. However, moments later she reappeared and helped me. The menu was not the average bar food menu, appetizers, salads, burgers of all types. I got the farm freak I think it was called. It took a very short period of time to get my order. Once it came out, it looked just as it did in the picture on the menu. Let me tell you, this burger was phenomenal! It was juicy and flavorful yet not sloppy. The BBQ sause complemented the egg and the burger very well! The server stopped by frequently yet not annoyingly, a very good balance. She was also very quick to retrieve the check upon completion. This place was possibly the most flavorful I have had in Lawton. I highly recommend!
Hanna, behind the bar, was very friendly and made my lunch trip the other day very enjoyable! She recommended the Holy Smoke, which I passed on, but did have the new cheesecake! 10/10 recommend! She had such a great energy and was so quick (the bar was very busy) but attentive to everyone! I always love going to this location, but will be back to see Hanna soon!
went there after a long day at work... the place has a good atmosphere. hostess and server were great. Looking at the menu is hard to decide what to order, everything looks soo good. I already had a burger for lunch so I decided to go traditional and ordered wings.. which were delicious. my co-worker however, ordered one of the burgers and right way I realized that I should've ordered a burger as well.. but anyways... the good thing is that I will have to come back tomorrow for a burger. At the end we decided to order the new dessert on the menu... Creamy raspberry and donut flavored cheesecake and OMG.. do yourself a favor... try it... you will thank me later....
First time here and loved it. The Legend burger was recommended by the Lauren the bartender and it's the best thing that has ever been in my mouth. I left several pounds heavier, it was worth every bite. The staff is super cute and friendly... but the regulars... I haven't last so hard in my life. Sitting at the bar listening to the reg's have a normal conversation had the entire bar entertained. Great food, great staff, great service and even better atmosphere! Will be stopping here everytime in town.
My girlfriend, a few friends and I ended up going to Backporch Drafthouse. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendly staff and were sat promptly. Ellie was our server and she was quick to introduce herself and get our order put in. She had our drinks, appetizers, and main food out quickly. Very chill atmosphere, the food was amazing and staff is super friendly. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a decently priced night out.
