Server was single handedly running the whole restaurant and doing it very well. Even though he was taking care of everyone, he was still super attentive. He was also personable and honest about what was good on the menu (spoiler, it's everything). If you go here, get the Cold Brew and if your server is Dakota, then tip him extremely well.
Not a fan. My husband got the scrambled eggs with sausage and diced potatoes. It looked and tasted like hotel food which accounts for my rating. I got the smoked salmon on toast with Arugula and avocado. I added a fried egg and it was perfect.
I’ve been here several times and the service has always been amazing! Today Dakota was my server and it was PHENOMENAL!!! We were pretty needy and Dakota did everything with a smile and was so nice!!! 10/10
Oh my goodness, I heard about this place right before the pandemic and live an hour away. I finally made it a week ago and it was so incredibly worth the wait! I had the chicken biscuit, and it was amazing! My mother in law had a breakfast hirrito with a green chili sauce on top I believe. She loved it.Definitely will be going back.
Great home cooked food, great service. I can't wait to go back again. Amazing biscuits! And KLLR fresh ground coffee.
The only reason they don't get 10 stars is because its not an option. I have been here almost 10 times and the service is always the absolute BEST. Food is great, staff is very friendly, and the environment is great. HIGHLY recommend!!!!!
This place is FABULOUS. My husband ordered the Shrimp and Grits (cheesy grits) the flavor profile will have your taste buds swimming in deliciousness. I ordered the Chicken Biscuit, which has spicy honey drizzle?. We will DEFINITELY be coming back to The Hive. Cynthia was our waitress and she was spot on in observing our table and bringing exactly what we needed when we needed it. Thanks Cynthia!
We have been here twice now and enjoyed both times. Friendly staff and great food. I tried the smoked salmon avocado toast which was fresh with amazing flavor, and the fried chicken and waffles which was incredible. The spicy honey is quite tasty, and the homemade coffee creamer is definitely worth coming back for.
Fantastic little place!! Highly recommend it. Food is very tasty and generous portions. Waite staff was excellent. Prices are very fair. This is a hidden gem. It gets busy but worth the wait.
Delicious food and friendly service. The chicken was tender, well seasoned, and breading was crispy (ordered the chicken and waffle). The oatmeal was well prepared and had nice accompaniments. I'd both recommend and eat here again.
