Paid $75.00 for me and my fiancé. I ordered a Traditional soup, while she got a Miso. What I received was the most bland excuse for a soup meal ever. I was seriously interested in just throwing the meat on the griddle; I mean you can’t convince me the traditional isn’t just water. The Miso was fine, but the Wagyu was completely ruined by whatever medium you used to cook it. No real seasoning, no garlic, nothing to enhance the flavor, just mushrooms, carrots, and cabbage. Not to mention my griddle evidently was broken, so they had to swap mine out 3 times before I could even begin to cook, but by then my fiancé was already started on her second bowl. Definitely won’t be returning; unbelievably overpriced and I’m very disappointed.
Such a unique experience and delicious food. You can create a new combination of items and flavors for each bite. Service is great, it feels like visiting friends.
Enjoyed lunch for my 27th birthday here with my mom and good friend. It was my mother's first time for hot pot and we absolutely loved it. The staff is so friendly and diverse, the veggies and broth were so fresh, and best of all it was ALL YOU CAN EAT! Highly recommend, especially to the local university students.
Food and service were excellent! Very friendly stuffand brought out food instantly. Never had anything like it before. Highly recommended!!
This is one of my favorite restaurants ever and definitely the best hot pot place I’ve been! They have a great variety of soup bases, meats, and veggies all for one price.I took away a star because their service is lacking. 3 waitresses running around but we had to remind them multiple times about things we were missing, and even then we went our whole meal without getting our gyozas and salad that we wanted to start with. They need a more organized and attentive wait staff but other than that this place is delicious!
Having had hot pot before, I can say this place hit the spot. You choose what soup flavor you want and the buffet style was great. You can order what you want and as much as you want but make sure you don’t waste any. My daughter is 7 and she liked it but not many things on the menu list she will truly eat. I also had an infant in a car seat and the seating here doesn’t accommodate that very well for that. You sit at a bar so it’s hard to have baby unless you take up someone’s seat. The bathrooms also did not have a changing table when I went so just a forewarning. The pricing to me is good for a buffet style but unless your kid will eat like you, the price for that is a little high. Wish they had maybe non buffet options for kids that may not eat much. We didn’t make a reservation but I think it would be best to next time since the seating is limited. I enjoyed it and will definitely go again.
This was my first time here. I did enjoy and had a very good time at this place. They have amazing broths, and very good options for meat and veggies. There are spicy and non-spicy versions and spicy is more flavorful.
Fantastic experience at Muu Shabu. It was our first hot pot experience and they were very patient in explaining how it worked.Fresh, high quality vegetables and meats.
I been here three times and really like this place!! Love that they do small portion for all you can eat so I can eat more different stuff!! Their meat are fresh, broth and dipping sauce is tasty!! Nice place for one or two friends to hang out, but hard to fit a big party here Bc of the interior design! Overall good!
I very much enjoy Muu Shabu, I love the variety of soup broths they have, their meats are delicious and cut very thin. Their garlic fried rice is fantastic. I like that you just go on your own or with a group of friends with the bar system. I like that each individual person has their own soup. I will keep going back .
