Have been here several times in the past, but today was not my best experience. Both hamburgers came out very undercooked and wait staff didn’t seem all that excited to be at work and had to ask for straw twice. They were pretty busy, but won’t be back, to many other good choices in Edmond for a good hamburger.
We won't be going back. Seating was immediate and it still took them 90 minutes to get our food and the food was mediocre and cold. Based on the tables around us, it appeared to be typical. Any of the other burger joints around (S&B, Red Robin, Henry Hudson's, etc) do as good or better, faster. I recommend staying away. Supposedly they have staffing issues but the available seating is beyond deceptive when you wait 1.5 hours for "ok" food and there are empty seats. We paid $60 for an appetizer, two burgers, and two drinks. They could afford to pay people enough to want to work there.
I used to come here frequently with my family. They have tasty appetizers and great local beers on tap. Unfortunately, their service has since become pitiful. Last time I came here with my family and we got lousy service we thought it was a fluke. We came again and got poor service and our food wasn't prepared well. They served us over crispy fries and chicken done in old oil. I don't think we'll return. Hopefully you have a better experience if you give them a chance.
We used to love Flatire, but it just isn’t the same. We wanted to give it one more chance tonight, but the service was just as bad as it has been the last few times. It wasn’t that busy, but no one was cleaning off tables; it was taking forever to put in an order. I saw one group continually try to flag down wait staff to order, but they were ignored. Our order was not right, which was rectified, but we were charged more for the wrong item. We knew it would take forever to change the receipt, and we didn’t want to wait for our card to go and come back, so we left the money and walked out. No one even acknowledged that we were leaving. The burgers didn’t even have much flavor, and my bun was crusty. This will be our last time.
Amazing specialty burgers and shakes! Great atmosphere and good service. Good tater tots, fries & sweet potato fries too. The salty carmel shake is magnificent!
Eh. Definitely average. We waited a while for everything we ordered. The place didn’t seem that busy. 7 o’clock on a Friday night and there was no wait lines the whole time we were there. We had the wicked queso. It was really good but came out cold. My friend got a strawberry Margarita on the rocks, she said it didn’t really have much of a flavor. I got the witch doctor and it was watered down. I ordered the southwest chicken wrap (January special) really good. But again cold. And it wasn’t a cold kind of wrap. Many people ordered shakes and s’mores, we did not, so maybe that’s the hype of this place. The waiter said they have the best ice cream.
I've eaten chicken tenders all over the world but flat tire has the best chicken tenders I've ever had. Very consistent quality.
Great spot for apps, burgers, and beers. Love the atmosphere and service is always really good. Love the variety and flavor combos of the burgers. It really separates this place from other burger joints.
Great variety of burgers and beers, good value, timely delivery of food order and wait staff was attentive and professional.
Everything was great. The food, drinks and friendly service. Came from Texas to visit. Will be coming back here next time we come to OK.
