Bryson the bartender was great!! But he was on the phone when we arrived and who I can only assume was a manager still had her pack pack on and took or drink order !! Service was great, food was amazing. We had a pizza and a club, both were above the board. Place is clean, staff is friendly and food is delicious. We live on a farm on the outskirts and tend to not go out to eat and when we do, usually just wish we were eating on the farm. Today made us happy we had to come to town. We’ll definitely come back and maybe even sooner then the next time we HAVE to come to town!!
I normally don’t post a review but I wanted to do on this one. The food is amazing and delicious but it takes awhile to get it. Meanwhile as I am walking in the hostesses at the check in we’re laughing and talking and looked at me stupid when I said there was one of me and no one else. Also the waitresses KEPT STARING at me like I didn’t belong there. They kept looking at me like I was fat and didn’t need to eat what I was eating. I must have been the talk of Eddie’s because every server that was standing at the front with the hostesses kept smirking and talking and looking towards me. I may be paranoid but this place is not a comfortable place. All the People at the bar were dressed nice and they all knew one another but as a woman who travels this is not the place for you.
Rode the bike down from the Wichita, KS area to meet some friends that live in OKC. The wife and I were originally on the way to a "chain" restaurant down the street and the building with the "EAT LOCAL" sign on it caught my attention. We are ALWAYS up for something local. Glad we stopped in. The serving staff was super friendly and the Strawberry Fields salad with chicken was outstanding. Very fresh lettuce and fruit on the salad. The chicken seasoning was perfect. Thanks, for the great meal! You will be on our short list of places to eat when we travel through the area again.
Try the Cajun angel shrimp appetizer, if you are a Tabasco hot sauce Weinee like me, get the spice on the side and ask for ranch dressing, 8 fat shrimp wrapped in bacon. I had the french dip in lovely soft bagetes. My husband had the wings. Huge servings The sweet potato fries were topped with honey, forget the ketchup and enjoy Downside, very crowded, and noisy not a well kept secret. Wait service brisk and amazing in that huge crowd. Sport bar atmosphere Worth it for lovely food
There was nothing to dislike about this place in general, but it was pretty pricey for the substance & quantity of food I received. I ordered the Cesar salad wrap & fries ($12, and probably the cheapest entree item on the menu) and the wrap was extremely small, a couple bites and it was gone. The fries were yummy and the service friendly, but doesn’t live up to the price point. Also, the music was super loud at some points. Cute place overall.
We visit Eddie's at least once a week! We love the staff and managers. Get the Pickle Wings! You won't be disappointed.
always great food and friendly staff!
I was in town from Tulsa and needed to kill some time with lunch. The neat curb appeal is what got me to stop. The inside atmosphere is moody-industrial-sports bar. I ordered the French Dip, which came out incredibly fast and hot. I knew I was going to write a review at first bite - SO GOOD! The staff is super friendly and attentive. While I had a primary server, several others checked on me and they really appeared to work as a team. My server went to fill my water and while she was gone another had already brought me a new one, they were all on top of it! My only critique is that I'd prefer my fries to be a bit more on the crisper side, but this French Dip was probably the best I've had!
Nice ambience but atrocious service (at the bar anyway).Old Fashioned was unimaginative, dull. A less than full bar and we had service gaps of 20+ minutes. Bartender seemed more interested in getting steps in and doing dishes. Would not recommend.
My Jack Rye old fashioned was pretty good. However, the beef stroganoff was a huge rip off. Maybe a cup of noodles and the Prime Rib were chewy scrapes, not nice tender pieces like you'd expect for the price of the dish. Other meals at the table were just okay too. The fish in the fish and chips were over cooked and dry. The fries were also over cooked. You would think that would make them crispy the way I like them, but they weren't, they were just dry and bland. My friends salad did look good, but how do you mess up lettuce? The biggest con with this place is that its incredibly loud. I could not hear anyone at our table talking. We all had to scream at each other. Doubt I'll be going back.
