Definitely NOT a true Chelino's!Fajitas were TERRIBLE and lacking of much of anything but onion....guacamole is not fresh, not even close! Rice and beans were good but for $60 I definitely expect more. If you are looking for Chelinos go to another location this is NOT worth eating! This location is dragging Chelinos' name through the mud. This is my FAVORITE place to eat, just don't come to Edmond.
This place is AMAZING! My family will only be coming here for our Mexican food from here on out. I had the beef tamales, my husband had a quesadilla. They were both fabulous. Of course, the queso was the best part. The service was great, and our waiter was very attentive. All staff we encountered were extremely friendly. Can’t recommend enough.
Food and service was terrible today. I am from out of town and got the worst experience. The meal had 3 tiny pieces of meat, I tried to show the manager.. He kept saying no way! He wasn’t there when I ordered. I recorded me trying to cut the chimichanga with a metal knife and fork.. Manager didn’t even look, just call me a liar. Asked for refund. He said no I am remaking the meal. ?? Bro I don’t want you making me food after calling me a liar ?!At Alfredo’s Mexican Cafe around the corner. They have treated me right!Anyways, I travel and eat at restaurants all over. Don’t eat here!
After visiting the Chelino's Mexican Restaurant for the first time, I was given the impression that they're exploiting visa workers/migratory workers for cheap labor. Some of the wait staff do not speak English and will retrieve a manager if you try to talk to them or ask them a question. Also their chicken strip dinner is not tasty. The chicken tenders weren't terrible(you can't go wrong with fried chicken), but I can't think of a single restaurnt I've been to that has chicken strips as unsatisfying as Chelinos. Their salsa is foamy and bubbles like a carbonated beverage. I was told that's because they shake the salsa up before they put it in your dipping cup. I was handed a bottle of ketchup to use on my chicken and fries. On the ketchup bottle was printed by the manufacturer, "YEAR 2005." I felt physically sick after eating at Chelinos, even though I had felt great all day up to just before I ate my meal.
Chelino's is my very favorite and I eat it every time I go to OKC! Great food, great service, and got my food fast even on a Friday night! However, my Mexican corn was sooo salty. Otherwise very yummy!
Do not eat here. Cesar the owner of this place will act like he didn’t just give you a free meal because he’s workers don’t know how to remember to put MEAT with your tacos. We live 30mins away and got home to NO meat in our tacos. Tell me how livid you would be. We call up there and Cesar answers and he said he would write our name down for free food. Nope. He acted like he didn’t do it at all. In fact, he was sarcastic. And rude. Do not waste your time here.
The food was delicious they were very busy. All the staff worked as a team very successful place. Will come back soon.
The place was very busy, but the staff was very attentive to our needs. The food was very good. Even my picky granddaughter said it was very good.
Chelino's food is good but the atmosphere is just awful. The service is lightning fast but not at all attentive.Chelino's obviously likes to hustle people through the doors as quickly as humanly possible. Maybe thats what some people want. Eating at their pace isn't enjoyable. It often leads to a a bad overall experience.
This place is the real deal Mexican food. Highly recommend! They load you up and have very reasonable prices. Finally some authentic Mexican in Edmond!
