We were told this is a “must do” in Vancouver and it didn’t disappoint! Donuts were great. Be prepared- you can buy 6 or 12 and you need to pay by card- this all caught us off guard but I’m glad we had to buy 6 as one was mor enough! Don’t be turned away from the huge line- it moves fast
This place is awesome! You walk in and are engulfed in delicious smells ? The decor is bright and cheery, as is the baker. The donut choices are creative and varied. We tried 5 different items and loved each one. A must try donut shop, through and through!
We had heard about this before our visit to Vancouver and felt it was worth making the effort to visit-so glad we did. The line was out the door but moved quickly and we chose 6 different donuts to share (each one plenty big enough to cut in half so we got to try them all!) Particularly liked the Bounty donut (Chocolate and coconut) and they were still fresh and tasty when we finished them off the next day!
Line up moved fast, lots of selection , good pricing. Was it the best donut I ever had… maybe not. But ranked up there. I had the honey dip.
Delicious Asian-styled donuts (specially the Yeast Donut series that is uncommon in Canada - hence unique in this part of the world) and a great variety of flavours to pick from! I tried a few flavours and they were all generally good - but the true standouts were the Honey Dip and the Jelly Filled donut, from the Yeast Donuts series. The 2 donuts were crafted so that bread-y part’s fluffy texture that blends with its topping. Both the honey glazing and jelly filling feel like they have the right amount of crisp, sweetness or creaminess that made it tasty but not overbearing. The other donut series were on the cake-y side in terms of texture and appealed less to my tastebuds. While waiting in line just give Lee’s Donuts a Google search to view their menu, and you can read up on the different donut series they have (psst go for the Yeast)! Lee’s Donuts are undoubtedly a standout in the Granville Island Public Market and while queues look long, I’d say they roll over relatively fast! Expect a lil wait (likely varying from 15-25+ mins) but nothing too unreasonable - but time very worthwhile spent for a wonderful donut experience!
My wife and I bought a few donuts here during a visit to the Granville Island Market location. Unfortunately, the apple fritters were still cooling, but we enjoyed a Bavarian cream, which was delicious. Worth the short line. Support local businesses!
Very cool donut shop. Friendly staff and good prices.
We waited about 15 minutes before ordering. The donuts were good but nothing special. You can find much better donuts elsewhere.
Great donuts and.. the mascot looks like ours
First visit...great selection for kiddos and adults. Kids have decided that this is the shop of choice ? After more visits will see about 5 star
